My best friend and I used to almost never argue, we were pretty much the same person. We would have the occaisional argument, and when we did we would write everything we thought and felt in emails and sort it out online, and not talk to eachother in person 'til it was sorted. It was a very good way of handling arguments. Except last time I didn't know what to reply, so I just didn't. That was about two years ago now. I do miss her greatly.

I have watched something like this happening around me, but not to myself. It's a strange kind of loss, but obviously it sometimes has to happen ...

Now I'm in a situation in which I did not fight but some people might have. During all this heat wave things seem to be falling apart, a couple split up (let's call them Sandra and Bridget), and my girlfriend had a crisis because she was not the one Bridget had fallen in love with, because she (my gf) has a crush on her. Call that great and let's hope it was just the weather. By now the situation has cooled down again and my gf has sworn me her everlasting love. She had better, what with us planning to build a house blabla. Still, I've had better times. Oh Rosie, this sounds sad I hope you are okay and you and your girlfriend work things out. I'm sure she does love you very much, as how could she not, you are a super loveable person! *karma* to make you feel better

Thanks so much WC, you're lovely.
I just wish we didn't have to see "Bridget" again, but no, we'll spend a short holiday together at the end of July (with two more friends, goddess bless). Which might just open up my gf's wounds. *big sigh*

^^I bet that is one holiday you are not looking forward to I think my boyfriend wishes he didn't have to see my ex ever again but we stayed friends and are really close so he is still around. They don't really see eye to eye but are polite and play nicely for my sake, which is very mature of them! Why do matters of the heart have to be so complicated and stressful....

@ AngelFaithThat is not pathetic at all. To go through what you have and to seek out help to better yourself, is admirable and exceptional. Me and my best friend were exactly the same way, with the emails. I haven't heard from her in a couple months now. I just gave up, I couldn't bring myself to write another letter trying to repair things. I've known her longer than anyone (7 Years+) and she knew everything about me, way more than my parents do or probably ever will. I've just been kind of numb since. The only reason we ever get into it is because she takes so much abuse from her boyfriend, and I can't stand to see her life unfold the way it is. It amazes me how two people who can be so connected can just disconnect...like flipping off a switch. Honestly, I don't know if I'll ever be able to be that honest with someone again. I didn't mean to get all therapy session. I was just struck by your post since that is exactly what has happened to me.
