One more reason to love Buffy is made clear in "End of Days," when Buffy is talking to the old woman who represents the makers of the scythe. "We forget it in secrecy for one like you, who ... I'm sorry, what's your name?"
"Buffy."
"No, really."
(Buffy shrugs.) Even after seven years, the show never lost the ability to have a sense of humor about itself. |

I love that line, and this is why I love Buffy. She can take a tense situation and still poke fun. Buffy character was bloody brillant. She didnt get third place (100 top characers) for nothing you know. Was that in Entertainment Weekly? I know there's a magazine this month that put out top 100 characters and Buffy was on one of the characters on the cover. |

Great line, no matter what was going on in the buffyverse, the humour still shone through in just the right way. I always giggle at the beginning of series 3 when Buffy is away and Willow is trying to pull off Buffy's one liners when she is slaying vamps |
