Buffy Theme Question

I was curious if anyone knew if a version of the Buffy Theme was done classical style. I've seen many CD's where popular music was covered by orchestras and symphonies before so I wondered if one was ever done of Buffy.

I don't know if anyone's ever done a professional recording of a classical version, but there are some floating around on YouTube.

Here are:

-- An uptempo piano version
-- A slower piano version
-- The version from "Prophecy Girl," which I'm pretty sure is the only episode where that motif was used in the score outside of the credit sequence.

Plus, here's a piano cover of the Angel theme and a pretty good violin rendition of the Angel and Firefly themes and "Going Through the Motions."

Extending the subject a little further, this '80s German/Austrian techno-pop song uses the same eight-note progression in its chorus and the Wikipedia page for the band even has a section on the similarity.

The "Troika" from Sergei Prokofiev's "Lieutenant Kije Suite," which some people might recognize from Woody Allen's "Love and Death," has a passage that's note-for-note the same as Buffy's "I've been making shows of trading blows" and "She does pretty well with fiends from hell."
