i was thinking about this the other day, i remember reading that Brian K Vaughn's arc was supposed to debut the subtitle for Season 8. i think i read that around the time issue 3 or 4 hit stores. so Vaughn's arc is almost complete and where is this subtitle?

I read that as well.. but can't remember his adsact words, or what issue it was in. Still has season eight up to Issue 11 on the covers... Would make sense if it changes after issue 11.

I'm thinking the subtitle is just 'Joss Whedon's Season Eight', unless they decide to put it in, in the near future?

I thought it was Joss Whedon's Season Eight. But maybe it will be in the final issue of the current arc if its not that.

Presumably the subtitle has something to do with the 'Twilight' storyline?

ý think subtitle is 'season eight' which in the previous part in long way home it says this story takes places after season 7 but now it says 'season eight'

Maybe they've ditched the whole subtitle idea? I don't really know, but I can find out if you want

it was way too overhyped with people thinking the subtitle would be relevant to the story. The subtitle is simply 'Joss Whedon's Season Eight' so that when people r in the store looking at say Buffy #6, and they see its being written by Brian K. Vaughan, they still know that its official canon and being supervised/okayed by Joss Whedon.
