So, I'm going to be moving to Texas in October. It's a total change for me, as I've lived in Indiana for the past 10 years. I'm kinda glad though. I hate Indiana and I'll get to meet my Grandfather and some aunts, uncles, and cousins that I've never seen.
So, I was wondering if anyone on here lives in Texas? I don't know what to expect when I move there. And I will know absolutely no one besides my mother.

Where are you moving to in Texas? What I've learned from my brief time in Texas is that the differences can be regional. Same with the scenery. Damn state is HUGE!

Apparently where my grandfather lives is very close to six flags. so, does that mean you'll be close to Six Flags?? i've always wanted to go there...but i've never been to Texas. however, i guess im lucky because i got myself Disney World AND Universal. I know, be jealous.  |

Yeah. My mom and I will be living with my grandpa until we can get our own place. I've been to Six Flags over Georgia before, but none of the other Six Flags.

Good luck, Sarah! I've never moved outside of my state and I can't imagine leaving all of my friends and memories behind. Best of luck! Thank you I pretty much hate moving at all, as I always moved when I was younger. Mostly around the time when my mom was in the Army. It always sucks to leave friends behind. Especially since I grew up with a lot of my friends, even if I moved away for years (I live in the town I was born in now). The main thing I'm gonna miss is seeing my little sister, who is graduating high school this next year and my little brother, who is only 10. It's gonna suck, but this is an opportunity that I don't really want to pass up. |

Obviously I'm British and completely ignorant of where anywhere is in the states but all I do know is that Texas is HUUUUUUUUUGE.
