Plus he, you know, killed a person. ;D
I just now got around to watching this week's episode. I really liked it! I'm still a really big fan of Shane and I loved the scene he had with Nancy. I also liked the part where he threatens Silas. "Don't make me go 'Pilar' on your ass". Hilarious! Anybody else watch it?

^^Which episode was that Eric? We've let this thread fall by the wayside! I watched the latest episode with the vajazzle. WTH is that? It seems kind of unsanitary to me... eh.... I'm actually starting to like Shane too. Loved what he said to Nancy. "You're not a bad influence because you're a drug dealer. You're a bad influence because you're a bad drug dealer."

^^Which episode was that Eric? I think it was the second episode. It was when they were in the hotel room picking out there names and then Shane and Silas began fighting on the bed. You're a bad influence because you're a bad drug dealer." I just watched the latest episode yesterday and I loved that too! I'm also loving Linda Hamilton.

I was thinking she looked kind of familiar, but I totally did not place her at all. She's got the hippie-mama-goddess-capitalist thing down though.

Okay, apologies for the double post but this refers to the latest episode. It's definitely picking up full steam. I have to say this was the most intense episode by far and I'm on the edge of my seat wondering how Nancy's going to get herself out of this. And I'm rooting for her with the same kind of fervor as I did in the earlier seasons too. Also, way to get scrappy! The look on her face when the other maid told her she's not good at anything was totally priceless.
It seems like Nancy's still able to manipulate Andy and Silas, but Shane is definitely the loose canon.

I loved this episode too! Shane was hilarious, like usual. Silas annoyed me, like usual. I loved the Nancy/Andy scenes. ("Penis Flytrap", tee-hee-hee.) Those moms were pretty funny until the end, which really annoyed me. Can't wait for the next episode!

What'd you think of Sunday's episode? Although Shane once again saves the day, it seemed a little anticlimactic to me, like it was a finale episode or something. And I can't believe the season is already halfway finished!

I'm sad that it doesn't look like Linda Hamilton is gonna be back, though. IMO, Weeds has a tendency to underutilize it's special guest stars.

^^ Agreed, although Mark-Paul Gosselaar definitely fulfilled his purpose... Concerning the latest episodes, I doubt Nancy and the family will make it to Copenhagen. And do you think Nancy's ex could be Silas' father? I really like him. The sweet naivete that comes across is kind of refreshing amidst all the lying, law breaking and general seediness.

I loved Mark-Paul Gosselaar, lol. I can't decide if I want him to be Silas' dad. I think it could be an interesting story line, but, but, but... Judah I loved the stuff with the math teacher. Him having a picture of Nancy in his wallet was hi-freaking-larious. Although, it made it seem like Nancy did sleep with him and I don't know how to feel about that. I hated the part with that nerdy Freshman guy. I mean, how obvious was it that he was a detective? Can't wait for next week's episode. I'm sad that there aren't many left this season!

I know, Judah! This week's ep was kind of meh to me, but I'm still intrigued. Nice twist with Ellis being a journalist and not a detective. Also, I can't believe Silas just went blurted out the dad bit, but I suspect he's done with this lifestyle and wants to stay with Lars. Just two more episodes to go!

I loved last night's episode. Seeing Dana for the first time was really funny. Nancy trying to use Celia's name was hilarious too. I was actually expecting Nancy to go back to the motel to find the cops/FBI and be arrested, so I was kinda surprised for it to be Guillermo (who I love) and Esteban. Can't wait for the final!

Dru, did you watch the finale? Anyone else? I really liked it. I think it actually would've worked really well as a series finale. I loved seeing Guillermo again! He always makes me laugh. Esteban really pissed me off, though. I know Nancy basically kidnapped Stevie, but she was just looking out for Shane. As a parent, I think he should've been more understanding.
It was nice that we've learned more about Nancy and Judah's relationship and past these last few episodes. The series is so different than it was back in season one, so I enjoy that it's going back to the beginning, in a way. It kinda fills in the blanks as to why Nancy came to the decision of become a weed dealer so many years ago.
The cliffhanger was really good. I wasn't really expecting that. Nancy finally has redeemed herself in my eyes, which is why I think it could've been a good series finale.

I enjoyed the episode as well. I haven't been loving the show as much as I used to, but these last few eps really drew me in again. I have disliked Nancy as a character for some time now, as she has become so selfish and is generally a terrible human being. This showed a glimmer of hope for her, finally making some good decision.

I enjoyed the finale as well, and the season as a whole. It will be interesting to see how they wrap it all up in the final season.
Nancy has three children by three different men. Good lord.

Man, what a crazy cliff-hanger! Loved the episode! I really hope something bad happens to Esteban....I want him off my screen! Every time I see him I want to punch his throat. Lol, yeah I hate that guy.
And I'm so glad Nancy is doing something right for once. I too for awhile was getting put off by her character and it was making the show "meh" for me. So like what Eric said, she has redeemed herself (or at least starting the process of it) and all is good. Can't wait till next season!

It was a great finale! And it was good to see Guillermo again. The season as a whole was kind of meh to me as well with a couple of very high points, but I'm glad it ended on such a positive note. We're so used to seeing Nancy work her way out of a jam and I'm excited to see how she'll handle the consequences of "Plan C."
What are your hopes for the rumored final season? Maybe it's too soon to hope, but I'd love it if they brought back Conrad.

I'm kinda sad that next season will probably be the last. I wouldn't really believe it as I heard rumors that the sixth was going to be the last, but the actors' contracts are up after the seventh season. I have a feeling Mary-Louise Parker may want to move on.
As for hopes for next season... I'm definitely on the bring-Conrad-back-bandwagon. Celia too! If Nancy is going down for Pilar's murder, then a lot of characters could be brought back to testify in court.

The final season should be Nancy and Celia in jail. Why would Celia be in jail? I don't know, but it should happen to fulfil my dreams. But not depressing Celia in jail, more like Nancy and Celia in jail and talking over prison food and being catty/bitchy but also hilarious. Like in season one and two of Weeds! I honestly don't care about any of the cast members minus Nancy, Celia and Conrad so I'd be down for cutting them all out. I think that's the reason why I started to really dislike the show, the Nancy and Celia friendship/rivalry was one of the best elements, but when it turned from friendship/rivalry to just hatred/animosity/cruelty the show wasn't fun any more.
Also then the credits could go back to the awesome theme song. Except the little boxes would now be the prison cells. And the 'they all look just the same' would be the prison-mates in their awesome orange jumpsuits. I think it's pretty much the best plan ever.
