Thank God, I don't recognize her. I'm not sure I could take more old characters.
It's a bit depressing, knowing that Spike & Illyria will make it through(unless this new big bad gave them a disease that will show up later).
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like "It's not Joss & c/o if someone doesn't die"? Like, it's not a good story if everyone survives?

As I said on Brian's blog: She looks cool, but I was kinda hoping it would be a male villain, since Spike: After the Fall was already seriously lacking in testosterone, with Frillyria, Spider and all the other harem girls in prominent roles. Ohwell.

There are male characters, in fact, there is a male character that is in it a lot (I'd say he's the third lead behind Spike and Illyria). I just haven't posted a picture yet. It ain't Connor, either. Or the Dragon. Or George.
There's a definite male presence, don't worry. That said, I think ANGEL:ATF leans more towards the male side of things, so I think it's okay if SPIKE:ATF has a lot of ladies. And I know that Spike certainly wouldn't mind.

Okay. In Lynch we trust.  And yeah, Spike doesn't mind, if his comments in Issue 5 are any indication. Can't wait to see the other character -- I'm assuming it's a new one, since you said you haven't posted a picture yet. *bounces on the balls of her feet* |

Another original character that I think everyone will really, really dig, is introduced in issue 1. I can't wait for this series to come out, the two AFTER THE FALLses will really compliment each other.

Awesome, i hope she and Spike have an epic battle. And it's also not certain that this big bad will be dead by the last issue(4), she could flee, be banished,defeated,ect to fight another day, no doubt her hatred for Spike would grow.
Angel's big bad, Gunn, seems more of a emotional testing(altough Gunn is more powerful now that he's a vamp and Angel a human), while Spike's big bad seems a physical one. Both compliment the leads.

 That is how much I LOVE Non. What a cool baddie for Spike to go up against. She feeds on humans, and Spike just happens to be guarding a load of humans. She can also obviously cause some damage to Spike and Illyriah, and her harem of super-girls are totally badass. This was an awesome baddie. I thought she was smart, evil, and totally wicked. She never once gave in to Spike's wiles, and she definitely put up a good fight against Illyriah. I liked this spin off and I hope we get to see more of Spider. I think it's cool that they've created someone who likes Spike just the way he is, flaws and all. But did anyone NOT appreciate the Illyriah/Spike kiss?? WTF^^ Ok, all around I liked this spin-off. I hope there's more Spike in the future of After the Fall, and I hope that if he does kick-it, he goes out in a blaze..like uhm, last time hahaha.
