I think this takes place before the events in ATF, but after issue 6, First Night.

The timeline is:
First Night #1-3
Spike: After the Fall #1-4
Angel: After the Fall #1-13
And you shouldn't just read Spike: AtF. Angel: AtF and First Night are good!
