Cool. I hope it's another Angelus-story.

Hopefully Darla, Spike and Drusilla makes an apperance. Specially Drusilla, since we never really got to see them interact in the flashbacks (at least not vampire Dru).

Very interesting! I love the art and I agree that it definitely looks like an Angelus project.

I'm sure it's Angelus. I mean, that is him on the cover! Urru's art has never been better, but I feel like he steps it up with every single image he makes, so I'm not sure how much weight that carries! He's insanely good.

The jpeg file is named "Angel_BC#1". I wonder if "BC" means something?
"Before Cordelia?" "Badass Cover?" "Boston Carnage?" (It looks like he could be there, maybe?)

I just spent a good ten minutes trying to think what past Angel character The palindrome is back was a subtle and clever reference to, feeling smug that noone else seemed to have picked up on it... Then i realised it meant Urru and felt like a right idiot.

It looks really cool and for some time I have been sticking around for a sense of loyalty in hope of an epic tale like After the fall. But I still don't think this is want I have been waiting for, I really hope that Darla is in it.

They can't all be epic stories Thorn:) Remember even the show had standalone eps. The issues since 22 have all been standalones, but from 28 onwards we are back to an arc. I suppose the month waits between comics make it seem longer...but when you look at the beginning of season 3 we had 6 episodes of standalones followed by 4 eps of arc, followed by 4 eps of standalones followed by 3 eps of arc followed 2 eps of standalones, followed by the last 3 eps of arc. Does that all add up?

John byrne did confirm two Angel Projects in 2010. Maybe Urru's doing the first one.

Chris Ryall posted some new tidbits about the upcoming Franco Urru (and possibly John Byrne) Angelus project on his BLOG: This first cover we have already seen, but the image tag gave us the title of the project: ANGEL: BARBARY COAST. And Urru continues to prove he's one of the best with the first preview page:

Looks great, a bit like the Angel arriving at the US flashes in "Orpheus".
