Cordy finding out about Angel being a vampire?

Do Cordelia find out on screen that Angel is a vampire? It's painfully obvious hat she doesn't know in Halloween, but a few episode later (Surprise?) she seems to know. Did we see when?

I don't remember the exact episode (I very much need to do a rewatch), but I remember there is an episode where she finds out.

Willow and Buffy tell her in "Halloween" and she doesn't believe them. She found out the truth offscreen, we never saw how exactly. Knowing Cordy, she probably wasn't that shocked.

I assume it was after 'Halloween' she learnt he was really a vampire...a good, cuddly care bear with fangs

She did help save Angel in What's my line, so she should have known he was sacrificed because he was Drusilla's sire, but it's Cordelia. She's living in her own bubble. She might not have cared about why he was sacrificed.

Cordy was told in halloween but being the girl that she is thyere is no way that she will believe it. More so if it also involves Buffy, Cordy will always think that Buffy is trying to be one up on her where the boys are concerned. It's obvious the penny drops and she believes that Buffy and willow actually told the truth. But surprises me that we didn't see when this happened as I'm sure she would have freaked and we would have been given a treat of Cordy lines such as 'Why do I always get the freeks, I had a normal life till you came to Sunnydale{looks at Buffy]'. I know that these lines are not in any of the shows but that's what I think her reaction would be!

I know, her reaction could have been sweet. But maybe it wasn't Buffy & Willow that convinced her. Maybe Angel vamped out in front of her, and freaked her out. Would have been awesome to see.

But maybe they tried to insinuate, but Cordelia wasn't getting it. I need to do a re-watch of everything, I think.

From Halloween:

CORDELIA: So, Buffy. You ran off last night and left poor little Angel all by his lonesome. But I did everything I could to comfort him.

BUFFY: I'll bet.

CORDELIA: So, what's his story anyway? I mean, I never see him around.

WILLOW: Not during the day, anyway.

CORDELIA: Oh, please. Don't tell me he still lives at home. Like, he has to wait for his dad to get back before he can take the car?

BUFFY: Cordelia, I think his parents have been dead for a couple of hundred years.

CORDELIA: Oh, good. I mean... What?

BUFFY: Angel's a vampire. I thought you knew.

CORDELIA: Oh, he's a vampire. Of course! But the cuddly kind. Like a Carebear with fangs?

WILLOW: It's true.

CORDELIA: You know what I think? I just think you're trying to scare me off 'cause you're afraid of the competition. Look, Buffy, you may be hot stuff when it comes to demonology or whatever, but when it comes to dating, I'm the Slayer.

CORDELIA: Buffy! Are you okay?

(Buffy sees Angel, yelps and cowers behind a box)

CORDELIA: What's your deal? Take a pill!

BUFFY: He's, he's a vampire!

CORDELIA: (to Angel) She's got this thing where she thinks... Uhhh, forget it. (to Buffy) It's okay. Angel is a good vampire. He would never hurt you.

BUFFY: Really?

CORDELIA: Absolutely. He's our friend.

Ah, so I was right about the fangy carebears.

But I guess it was already known that Cordelia figured it out during Halloween.

Or does Cordelia not actually figure it out? Because the second quote suggests that she doesn't quite believe it. So maybe she was just placating Buffy?

She was talking to Buffy as if Buffy as insane, so yeah. She turned to Angel to say that Buffy thought he was a vampire, as if it wasn't true, before she stopped herself.

So she doesn't get it.

Since the scene ended with her Cordy and Xander. I liked to think he snuggle up to her and told her about Buffy and Angel and him being a vampire. I know. In my dreams. The snuggling part anyway.

Him? Xander being a vampire? And snuggling with Cordy? I thought they didn't get snuggly until What's my line?

I misspoke I guess. Him as in Angel. And you're right they didn't get snuggling until What's My Line? Hence why I said in my dreams. A girl can dream right.

Close to the end of that act Xander and Cordy were talking about how they couldn't get between Buffy and Angel. So I like to think maybe that conversation continued with Xander reveal Angel as a vampire. That's all in my head though.
