I like to think so. And you can't say there is no market for action figure lines solely for a comic book . DC Direct has been doing just that for years and they are still cranking them out.
But to be honest, I really hope that if there is a new toyline that a new company would get the license for it. Perhaps Neca or Mezco. Maybe even Playmates.
I'd love a new Buffy figure, especially if she is wearing the military grade armor and fighting garb like she is seen wearing at the begining of the series, or perhaps what she is wearing on the cover of the "Wolves at the Gate" collection.
4in or 6in, though? Thats the question?

12'' ? That would be awesome. I wonder what they would look like though, if they'd be basing it on the comic book art or the cast of BtVS. Either way I'd definitely buy.

I guess that while the Season 8 fanbase is smaller than the show's, they would reflect the target market for other merch pretty well. DST shows no interest at all though, so they'd have to let it go first I imagine.

i agree with you guys. i think that it would be more interesting to see another company take on the challange, plus it doesn't seem like DST doesn't want anything to do with the Buffy line.

I would love some season 8 figures, that would be amazing. I like the idea of another company taking over though to bring some fresh ideas in. I personally would like more 6" figures as I can never afford to buy the big statues that come out, and as much as I love the tiki's they are expensive to pay out for at once, so a few affordable 6" figures would be fab.

i agree. it's hard to come up with the money for all the new things coming out for Buffy(Tikis, the Throne of the Slayer, ect). New 6" figures would be a kinda relief to see something alot cheaper, and would be fab like you said!

I prefer statues to action figures, I think it allows for a better likeness to the characters.

i agree. all of those figures would be epic, especially the character we have yet to get a figure from like Twilight, Satsu, Future Dark Willow, and Fray. Also i would like to see Andrew, Amy, and Oz with that list too.

I would love more figures, but I just don't see it happening. DST was just all over the place when it came to quality and numbers. I remember seeing a Tower Records display full of nothing but Lessons Dawn (literally over 40 of them). Some figures they got right, but a lot of them really made you long for the days of MAC. I would love for Neca to get the license.

After seeing the amazon preview for "No Future For You", I really want Faith with a grappling hook.
