SPIKE #2Covers: (Click for larger) Spike #2
Brian Lynch (w) • Franco Urru (a & c) Spike takes in all Las Vegas has to offer—the gambling, the women, and a hit new show called Cirque de No Slay. Yes, somebody's made a show about Spike's life, but they're rewriting history. Who's responsible? The answer to that isn't half as shocking as how Spike handles it. Get ready for the ultimate battle of Spike vs. Evil! FC • 32 pages • $3.99 Out in November.

Awesome! ;D
Cannot wait. This sounds so great. I wasn't expecting a summary like this one, for some reason.

I love the idea of a Vegas show based on Spike's life. Especially since it sounds like an incorrect retelling. It will be fun to see his history explored that way.

I love the Urru cover. Might be the best Spike he has done. It might be the shadows on Spike's face that does it.
And I really love the colors.

Might wanna point out to IDW that "hellbutt" should have two "T"s.

Might wanna point out to IDW that "hellbutt" should have two "T"s. Also, George's first line should be either "I'm picturing you" or "I picture you," not "I'm picture you." But this is cool. Cirque du No Slay is hilarious (though not nearly as weird as an actual Cirque du Soleil show). I love Beck, and if I could choose one IDW character to come over to season 9, it would be her. (Or Betta George, but Beck gets the edge because she has better legs. )

I thought that Spike learned about the world loving the vampires and hating the slayers when he got back, i don't know from where and did the research, now i see that he knows about it in Vegas? Is this the future, the past or the present, because i am really confused. Becky is 22 years old but she was born in 1989, so that makes her today 21 years old, not 22, so i'ts the future. But he just finds out that people hate the slayers, so it's the past. And Spike already knows about the aerial sex between Buffy and Angel, so it's the future. But we are supposed to learn how Spike got his space-ship full of bugs, so it's the past.

I agree with you, leyki... some things are pretty confusing like that Cirque Du Non Slay, but I hope we'll get an explanation soon. About Beck ages - I think someone is not good in the maths, just like me! LOL ETA: But maybe you have a point - Spike is coming into Buffy's storyline from the future, or from some alternative timeline... who knows
