What do you think of Criss Angel? Criss Angel is the famous magician who does unbeLIEvable stunts that are totally legit. I saw him live this year and everything he does is real, let me tell ya firsthand. Front row seats are so great. Anyways, he's walked on water, been flown from a helicopter with shackles through him, walked through walls and glass, and much more! More info on him is on Wikipedia. Plus, he is so effing hot! Great showman, but kind of a tool at times. Though I'll always respect him for outing Uri Gellar and another "psychic" on his show "Phenomenon".

Ditto. Sometimes he is kinda annoying and weird, but I overlook that stuff anyways because his talent, stunts, and hotness so overule that to me  |

I saw one time way back before he became popular. He used to perform around Time Square in New York, usually at the old WWE New York restaurant. At the time I didn't think he'd become as big as he is. His tv show entertains me I hope to see him live soon.

Anyone have a idea why the writers if Supernatural thinks this guy is a douche? One of the episodes are called "Criss Angel is a douche" and a character that was like him was mocked in the episode. Anyone know why?

Anyone know why? A lot of people think Criss is a douche. Why I don't know. My best friend thinks he's a douche when I asked her why she said "cause he is." Me I think he's just a very sarcastic person and people take him to serious. |

Yeah he actually seems like a pretty down-to-earth person most of the time, but his act kind of makes him seem a little arrogant.
I'd still take his ego in full opposed to that of David "I'm in a box and not gonna eat" Blaine.

my husband is a magician. the whole magic community (magicians around the world) hate criss, he steals tricks and doesn't give credit where it is due. He bought his way into vegas and is forcing other magicians to shut down or leave because they just can't stand to be around him. Criss went from being a great magician (Angel in japan) to being nothing more then a loud mouth showman who does camera tricks. Most of what you see on his show is camera tricks. He takes his advisers (magicians that have been in the biz for over 50 years) and treats them like crap. No one wants to work with him anymore.... its sad...

I love Derren Brown who is more mind manipulation that physical illusions. I think he is so clever, albeit a little scary!!

I think your are right, if I remember correctly the "Criss Angel" character stole tricks, was totally arrogant, and was a total douche. I mean, I've seen very little of Criss Angel, but they guy comes off like a douche, which I think is part if his whole act. He has to have the attitude. |
