I think I need to research how much water you can drink before you start being unhealthy. I think I've had at least 15 glasses today.

I am really dehydrated but I have taught my body to run on that. I only have one kidney so I am told to drink more water, but I don't drink water. I hate water, I drink coffee and soda.

^^ Oh scones, so jummy. I have to make some. I usually dislike baking for just me in my small kitchen/hallway, but now that dad is visiting, I might make the effort. That's another thing to add to the "Healthy yet tasty" list. I will need to fill it up so I won't eat candy. Jummy. I think I need to research how much water you can drink before you start being unhealthy. I think I've had at least 15 glasses today. You shouldn't force yourself to drink too much water. Forcing yourself to drink a few glasses throughout the day is fine, but aside from that you should only drink when you're thirsty.

I was watching some TV show (it might have been 20/20) about drinking water, and they say it doesn't do too much for your skin although it's important to stay hydrated. Scar, I don't think it'll harm you to drink too much water, as long as you don't drink it all at once. This poor girl whom I roomed with in undergrad threw up after drinking too much water... 10 glasses at once.

I worry about my water intake to the point where it's kinda become obsessive. I read that it shouldn't be a problem as long as I'm not drinking more than a litre per hour, which I may have been doing so today.
I found some information on water drinking you might find useful:
"The minimum for a healthy person is eight to ten eight-ounce glasses a day," says Dr. Flaks. "You need more if you exercise a lot or live in a hot climate. And overweight people should drink in an extra glass for every 25 pounds they exceed their ideal weight. Consult your own physician for their recommendations. At the International Sports Medicine Institute, we have a formula for daily water intake: 1/2 ounce per pound of body weight if you're not active (that's ten eight-ounce glasses if you weigh 160 pounds), and 2/3 ounce per pound if you're athletic (13 to 14 glasses a day, at the same weight). Your intake should be spread throughout the day and evening. You may wonder: If I drink this much, won't I constantly be running to the bathroom? Yes. But after a few weeks, your bladder tends to adjust and you urinate less frequently but in larger amounts."
"Further problems often develop when the sensation of thirst urges an intake of water, and instead, soda pop, coffee, or alcohol-containing beverages are taken to quench the thirst. While these beverages contain water, they are actually dehydrating fluids. Not only do they eliminate the water contained in them, but they also cause you to lose further amounts of water from your body's reserves!"

If you drink too much water in a short period of time, you can sometimes get sick, because it'll sort of wash away all the vitamins. Some radio station had this water-drinking contest or something, and a girl got hospitalized because of it.
Of course, you have to drink a pretty intense amount of water in order to actually send yourself to the hospital with it.
Today in Human Biology I learned that the worst kind of fat to take in is Trans fat. And, apparently things that are Partially hydrogenated are actually trans fats in disguise. Just so you know.
Good thing giving up fast food though. I don't know if you have ever seen Supersize Me, but it did some serious damage to that guy. I mean, you probably don't eat it for every meal, every day, but I'm sure it has a similar effect spread out over a long time. I for one, never much liked fast food. I generally have the one meal at each chain that I find edible. So, giving that up is not a huge ordeal for me...
If you have anymore lapses, I would suggest phasing stuff out slowly. It's a lot easier than going cold turkey, and when you keep denying yourself in a really huge way, you tend to binge later and it's worse. That's generally my problem. I can't stop if I start something.
Also, try reading the information on the box, and actually count out a serving size and everything. My problem is that I'm generally eating while I'm doing something, and I don't realize how much I'm eating until it's all gone.

I meant seafood really. outofphase clementines are like little oranges. I work at a fruit and veg store so call all they types of "oranges" by their technical names sorry. Here's one:

It's still very important to drink 2 litres of water in a day. Just not in less than two hours.

Then there's mandarin oranges(also called tangerines), which I think are completely different from oranges as well (althought the online dictionary I used said it's a kind of small oranges), but looks like small oranges and look like clementines.

What me and my mother do is keep a notebook, in which you set a certain number of calorie intake for each day. As a teen, my calorie intake is 1800. The notebook is used to write down the amount of fat and calories in each meal that you each, and once you get to your cal intake, you cannot eat for the rest of the day until 7 AM.
