Hi,
I don't know if you'll be able to answer my question, but I'll try. I am writing an article on Angel for a spanish film website called Miradas de Cine, and I have a little doubt. I always thought that part of the second half episodes from season five were written after the cancellation notice, and the cancellation forced Whedon and his team to change the final episodes to give some closure to the Buffyverse.
But now, reading Joss Whedon's note to the fans when he knew about the cancellation, I see that he says that the series will proceed as originally planned, so I am not sure if the cancellation of the series affected the storyline or not.
Do you know about this? The season would have been practically the same withouth being cancelled or the final episodes were changed?
Thanks a lot.
Toni
