^it's hinted at that she's a brunette. I would love it if the mother turned out to be a Whdeon actor! Seeing as it can't be Amy Acker I think I'm gonna lead my vote towards Elizabeth Anne Allen, wouldn't that be awesome?

One idea that's been suggested to me for my Amber Benson idea is that when Barney meets her in the bar and begins lying like he always does she lies too claiming to be a nurse/stripper/stewardess etc only to turn up as his opposite number in the boardroom the next day

I don't have a problem with the mother having brown hair, as Lily shows you can pretty much change it at will
