I just noticed that NL197 is no longer registered, I thought he hadn't been around for a while. Does anyone know what happened to him as I really liked him and enjoyed talking with him  |

Check out the "claim a slayaliver" thread. I believe he said something about not wanting to post a lot anymore because he wasn't feeling included. I'm guessing that has something to do with why he is unregistered?

Eh. I kinda feel bad, but at the same time, it kinda annoys me.
I thought he was getting along with everyone fine. I talked to him a few times and he seemed really nice. He, Liney and I talked openly about pornography in the WU thread before getting our posts deleted. Good times! When he made that post in the Claim a SlayAliver thread, it took me by surprise a bit, but we were all really nice about it, weren't we? Like, all welcoming and friendly and stuff?
That's what bothers me. He said he was feeling left out, but right after we go out of our way to try to include him, he deletes his account.

I miss Nick....he was really cool to talk to and very nice and we agreed on a lot of things. I hope he decides to register again on the new forum. |

^i agree...hopefully he knows when the new forum comes that we love everyone here on the forum, newbies and all, no matter what! and i also agree with you too Eric. When he did make that post about feeling left out, i thought everyone approched him very well. I don't think that we said anything bad enough to make him leave......i still feel bad though. |

I liked Nick, he seemed really nice, but I kind of get why he left. I mean, yes, we're all nice and we all try to make newbies feel welcome, but this forum can be a little daunting, regardless. It takes a while to really feel like one of the family, and I guess some people just don't have the time/drive to make the effort to break into this already-established fanbase.
I remember when I first joined I felt like a complete outsider for the first couple of months, but I'm glad I stuck it out! Maybe (as others have said) Nick will register on the new forum.

The way i think of fourms is that they function very much like a school, you can't expect to be everybody's friend on the first day it takes time and effort. But like EWR said we don't know why he left so i'll leave it at that.

^^Ditto. Aww... she was really great. Loved reading her responses to Vampire Diaries. And I didn't even get a chance to tell her I started watching True Blood! Oh wells. You never know...members come back all the time so hopefully we'll see them again in the future. |

Well, before she deleted her account, she changed her name to "Goodbye SlayAlive" and her personal text to "Until Next Time" (or something along those lines). Maybe this is a good sign that she will come back. Hopefully. |
