Anyway I just thought I should let everybody on slayalive know that i'm leaving due to a number of things. About 4 weeks ago my nan passed away and a few days ago my mums dad had a minor stroke on the same day my mum came back from India. When bad things like this happens I usually think about having kids one day just to make myself feel better, and it usually works. And then a member on slayalive tells me that my kids are going to be dirty, and will be touched by the devil and won't be loved by anyone. Which now makes me think, well if somebody is saying this sort of stuff to me and i haven't got any kids yet, what sort of abuse would i get when i do have kids? And today I received a phone call about my dad's uncle who only has 2 days to live now. So i can't deal with this right now and it's time that I leave slayalive.

I mean i've had racism and homophobia in the past but this is the worst thing i have ever heard in my life. Even if the person who said it apologises to me, i don't want to know because it's too late, instead that person is not happy about what i think we should do to them.

So all this time the 2 people who are causing trouble with me have also been commenting on this thread. One of them said vile stuff and the other one is protecting that person.

Hopefully Cowboyguy or one of the slayalive mods will let everyone know what was going on and who's responsible for saying all that vile stuff. It's best that people on here find out so we can be aware of them. I'm sure you'll do a great job on your new forum, i've got faith in you.

So before I go, I'd like to give a shout out to EVERYBODY on slayalive.

I'd like to say thanks to Phil (cowboyguy) for making this great site which i've been on for 2 and half years, i've had a great time until recently.

I want to give a shoutout to Angelgirl, Rebecca, Lucifurl, Wenxina, NightLord, Whitecandy, vampire in rug, Midnight Butterfly and BenTaylor, bennythekey, Girl in question, basically everybody apart from the 2 people i've just explained about. Never show the enemy love.

Man have I missed a lot. I'm sorry about the things you going through in life and on this board. And it's a shame that you're leaving because of it. I feel bad cause we were just starting to get to know each other. I hope you at least come back to the new forum.

I usually stay out of the politics of this site, but I was compelled to comment on this. This whole thing is unfortunate. I know a lot of people feel that Slayalive is a "Safe Place" on the internet, and it stinks that a member now doesn't feel comfortable here.

That being said, keep in mind that there are a lot of yucky people on the internet. It is a place where anyone can say whatever they want without any real consequences for their actions. At the same time, we can't take what these people say to heart; I'm sure that if harmindervamp has children in the future, they will be loved, healthy, and happy. Don't let something some moron on the internet said ruin things for you. Their comments are irrelevant, and hold no weight. Harm, if you are out there, my thoughts and hopes are with you and your family. It sounds like you are going through a really tough time.

And I will second jellymoff's opinion about there being "yucky people" out there. Unfortunately, at this time, we're not able to better police the cbox, and as a result, people can sign in using whatever name they choose. Even non-members, I think. It has been a problem before, but in general, SlayAlivers have been pretty honest about it. This incident doesn't just disappoint me, it generally pisses me off too. Any more cyber bullying in this space, and the perpetrators are out. For good. No exceptions. I monitor the cbox whenever I can, so I usually get a pretty good sampling of what goes on during the day. If anyone sees any more cyber bullying, copy the offending section and send it to me and Phil (or any active Mod) right away.

So sorry to see you leave harm, I have enjoyed getting to know you and have always thought you are a lovely, kind and thoughtful person. I have enjoyed our chats on the boards and by pm and really hope you feel able to come back to the forum soon.

I understand why you are so upset by what has happened as I too feel saddened that someone so well known to everyone on here could be so cruel, especially to someone as sweet natured as you, and I hope you feel better about it in time. I am sending you many good luck thoughts for you and your family at this time and will keep in touch with you as much as possible through other interweb ways

I'm sad you're leaving, Harm. You've been a great member of this forum for a long time. I hope you take the opportunity to rejoin when we move. Otherwise, you'll be greatly missed.




I'd also just like to say, I'm really disappointed with some of the rumors that are going around on MSN and in PMs. A certain member has been accused of doing this, which is really upsetting considering she's one of the oldest and nicest members on this forum. The drama is just over the top and silly. I hope we can all mature up and either discuss this rationally or let it go.
