I just saw on Entertainment Tonight that Owen Wilson attempted to commit suicide. He reportedly slit one wrist and took a number of pills, but they haven't confirmed what happened for sure yet. He is currently in the hospital.
He issued a statement (which was given by his publicist): "I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."
He is one of my favorite actors out there, and I am deeply saddened and shocked by this. Such a shame, I hope and pray that he is able to get on the right track again in life.
