If it's a Joss Whedon show, you know it's bound to be a succes Critical success...perhaps. But with Joss and Fox's past, who knows what will happen with this show. As for the airdate, I would imagine this September. |

Does anyone know if this airs i the UK in September too, or will we have to wait a little longer? I'm guessing we wont get it till like five months later or so which really sucks. :\ i guess at least we get DrWho first .. well not that, thats up to Joss standards. |

I like to think that it will be a success, but of course there's something in the back of my head going "Firefly...firefly..."
I know that it will be amazing (since it's Joss) so I really hope it lasts for a bit.

As long as Fox throws some good marketing towards it, gives it a good timeslot, actually airs the episodes in order, and let's the show's awesomeness speak for itself, then there is no reason why it can't become a success.

Firefly was thrown around and the people at Fox new they weren't treating it right. It's not fair what they done they thought thew were getting another Stargate or Battlestar Galactia but they got some thing smart instead. Nathan Fillions said they wanted there to be more aliens (stupid fox there was no aliens unless they menat reavers) and they didn't like the horses. Again I say....stupid fucking fox. They are luck they renewerd Terminator or they would ahve been getting sooo many angry letters. Thye are known for canceling shows and I think they are finally beginning to realise this and that it's not good. Bring back Angel (my one secret wish...that and Firefly) but it'll never happen... *cries and then watched Angel on dvd* |

Unfortunately most people correlate success with popularity and/or money made. Buffy was a critical success. That's a more accurate statement. We can thank the "success" of American reality shows for the superfluous amount of 'American Idol's Biggest Loser's Amazing Race to The Hills' currently on television and the declining amount of intelligently written series in production. I don't think I watch successful shows. |

I think it will be a success. Fan base wise. I mean all Joss shows have cult followings. Buffy i think has had the most success then the others both tv wise and comic wise. I don't see a reason why Dollhouse will not be the same.

Mmmm it will be a sucess but I personally don't think it deserves to be. It doesn't seem that good. People aka Doll's can jack in and out of differnet realities usign any type of personality they want...whilst being hunted down by FBI. A wee but simple if you ask me. But I'll still watch it and love it as it's Eliza Dushku, Amy Acker and Joss Whedon. Woo!!!
