Hehe, nice too see that ! Especially because I thought it wasn't her voice on "Once More With Feelings". I don't know here, but I remember I heard that Amber was the only one that didn't sing for real in the episode 'cos she couldn't ! It was a lie for sure, 'cos she has an real nice voice !!! Oh, and when I was looking at those "youtube" thing, I found, a sims version of "I'm under your spell", well made : www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6rkpzscxok&NR

It's all of their own voices on OMWF! I've seen Anthony, Amber, Alyson, Sarah, Emma all mention that they sang in various interviews. And Willow was the worst singer LOL, bless her, so Im guessing everybody else sang if Joss allowed the worst singer to singer her bit. If you get me.. LOL. - Arron P.S I've seen that video

I had heard that Spike and Dawn's singing voices weren't their own, but there's no reason for James Marsters not to be singing, he's in a band for cryng out loud! So I don't believe that one. But I'm not sure that's Michelle's voice. She only sings 4 lines, but it just sounds too different to the louder non-singing bits Michelle does in Sweets song. Does anyone know if it was her or not?

Yes, everyone had to sing their own parts.
Alyson Hannigan asked to not have any singing parts, cause she didn't have a good singing voice. Which is why she sings very very little.
I remember in an interview she said that if she'd known they would "fix" her voice in studio she would have sang more! Hehe.
Sarah Michelle Gellar had a hard time with it too.

Oh...but it was an exciting episode...even if you COULD tell that Alyson Hannigan just isn't a singer. Anybody ever see 'Date Movie' (hate that movie, and I love parodies)? Remember her singing at the party?? Yep...that's why she didn't sing in OMWF too much. LOL...bless her heart...

She sounds great, I hope that she eventually comes out with a CD.

Everyone sings. If you watch the dvd there is a really long featurette about the whole episode. James did a lot of singing and a little writing i believe. Joss was excited when at a party, tony whipped out the guitar and he and james started singing. He heard everone;s voices and realized he COULD do a musical episode, which he had been wanting to do, because everyone was amazing at singing. Alyson had a good voice, just very self conscious. same with michelle/dawn. amber was the most nervous, yet had one of the best voices. these clips were very cool!

It's part of Willow's character to not sing well. Singing publicly was her worst fear. I don't know much about Alyson's singing ability, but I do know Willow would probably not say very much out loud for fear of singing it.
