Buffy Style!

For me, one of the most fun parts of watching the seasons on DVD is seeing the evolution of Buffy's style.
Xander's cloths are just blah. His style is pretty much just the average guy style and it never really changed.
Willow's style took a huge turn in around season four.
But Buffy....Buffy's style changed constantly while always remaining representative of who Buffy was and where she was at personally in each individual season. From boots and push up bras in season one to slim and chic in season seven, what is your favorite season of Buffy style?

I voted for season 6.
I think Buffy really came into her own during the sixth season and her wardrobe definately reflected that. She wore such amazing outfits!
Some of the standouts for me are all of the cloths from Once More With Feeling!
Red is such an iconic color in Buffy's wardrobe, as is leather. The Black leather trench with the caped shoulders and the red blouse Buffy wore in the end of the episode is, imho, one of Buffy's most iconic looks!

I agree about season 7. I loved her long hair with the sideswept bangs.




I was looking for screen caps of her in the sexy plaid skirt and heels from Him, but I couldn't find any. I loved her overall look in season 7 though.

My second favorite season was season 3. I loved the blonder highligh she had in her hair at the beginning of the season:




The blue Becoming jacket from the end of season 2 is one of my other favorite Buffy looks. I loved all over leather blazer/trench looks with the boots from seasons 2 and 3.

I'm torn between Season 5 and 6. Season 5 was more fun, funky. The pink leather pants in B vs. D and the Devil's head tshirt, chain belt and tan leather pants in another episode, etc..
Season 6 was more adult and serious I think to go with the more adult tone of the year. But, I liked her hair in Season 5, so maybe I'll go with that. But, I definitely liked those 2 years over Seasons 1-3.

Yeah, Buffy's style in 1-3 were pretty trendy and of the moment. Her styles, starting in season 4 and going through to the end of the show was more timeless and classic. I think that is a pretty good representation of how things work in most everyones lives. I think that most people are more concerned about being trendy when they are younger and then they kind of come into their own when they get a bit older and then finally settle into a classic style.

I was never a fan of the Season 1-3 styles, from her hair to her make-up to her outfits. Never did ti for me. I always thought she looked tacky. I looooove Seasons 5-7 style. End of Days is probably my favorite look overall. She had great hair, make-up was smokin' and so was her 'fit.

I love season 7 style. it was such style but not to sluty. like the chosen outfit is one of my favs!

Poor seasons 1-3 LOL.
I really do like the some of the earlier season *outfits* but not so much the style as a whole.

Ekk i shall be getting eggs thrown at me for this. I love Buffy's fashion in Season one to 3. Season one mainly (as is what i voted for)
I loved the fun feel to her clothing and the big plastic rings and such i though it was a great style for the time.
But i think it was also because SMG wasn't too thin in them seasons so the clothing looks better on her.

I love the dress she wore in season one Prophecy Girl. I think it was Vera Wang that made the dress.

I think Buffy's style was always set to the current fashion trends of the time. I think as she got older her look got more adult then child, the mini skirts where out and the .jeans where in. I loved what she wear in chosen i think the top was really nice and her hair looked really nice pulled back like that. I think she looked really sweet.
