We all have our own signature style, whether it's jeans and a T-shirt, following the latest trends, or going with what's classic.
Buffy went from the micro minis with boots in season 1 to skinny jeans with boots and a trench in season 2 to her later look of hippy chic peasant blouses with boot cut pants.
What's your signature style? Do you accessorize? Dye your hair? Why do you dress that way? What message are you trying to send to others about who you are?
Post pics that show your style? Post celebrities you look to as fashion icons.
Mix it up! Have some fun!

I love classic outfits with colors that make my blue eyes stand out, and that flatter my figure. I tend to wear jewel tones like royal purple, royal blue, emerald green, fuschia, and burgundy. I've always loved over-the-top clothes, like Drusilla's modern day outfits. I have a long black coat similar to her red one with the fake fur collar. I also love hats with big brims to shade me from the sun. Here's me when I was 14. In a lot of ways I had the same style, but I wore gobs of eyeliner back then. It was the 80s! Sadly, that hard, dark blue, lines the inside of the eyes look is coming back. I think it's unflattering and sad. I wish I'd listened to my family and not worn my makeup like that! In the summer, I'm all about sundresses that will keep me cool, but still be flattering. Plus, I'm pretty lazy, so the less I have to worry about coordinating the better. Here are some photos: Some of my Sundresses: With ESC/Eva from the board: My Drusilla dress: At my stepson's wedding. I chose an emerald green dress with a flouncy skirt to disguise my "problem areas", and emphasize my waist.

Hmm...I go for the designer clothes...but from Goodwill. I like to shop for expensive clothes at low, low prices...and those clothes need a home, too!! (plus, I used to work there, so I know the skinny on all the process) My undergarments are what define me most. I won't put anything on my butt that isn't Calvin Klein. I am hardcore Calvin Klein when it comes to my undies. Bikini cut...none of those granny panty things...lol. I do have boyshorts from Calvin Klein as well but don't wear them as much. Victoria's Secret is the only thing that's allowed on my boobs. TMI?? Tough luck...somebody will appreciate it one day. *fingers crossed* LOL. As for style?? I go from business suit to jeans, tshirt, and Converse sneakers to dress shirts and corduroys. Old Navy top, United Colors of Benneton frames (I have on Calvin Klein jeans but you can't see them): Slumming in my Gap tshirt I got for $1 at the Goodwill: Sometimes, I like to be naked, and wear nothing but Spaghetti-Os: My indie band tshirt collection is legendary...or at least it should be: Boy, I needed some good acne cream...lol. I don't have that shirt anymore but it was American Eagle, I believe... Old Navy again:

LMFAO!! Anyway I think this is gonna be one of my favorite areas... Anyway my style changes all the time... I consider myslef to be pretty fashion forward. I'm more into trendy styles and such. A look I am into right now are jeans that are fitted closer to my legs, not quite SKINNY jeans but similar. I guess, slim? Anyway I love them. I'm starting to move away from always wearing dressy click clack shoes like boots and stuff into more sneakers that have flair and personality. I bought these kicks yesterday I think they are sick as hell! On average I like wearing expensive jeans, my favorite brand is True Religion. My favorite guys brand is Diesel. So I wear mostly clothes like that. T-shirts, funky sweaters and scarves, as well as hoodies. And my new sneakers. Oh and neck chains, I like those too. I buy alot of them from Urban Outfitters and Guess Jeans

My style is pretty basic, i always wear pants (either blue jeans or black/brown pants).. the last time i wore a dress or skirt was probably at age 10. On top i usually wear a sweater/hoodie over a top. I always wear things with long sleeves, so never just a t-shirt or tanktop... i dislike my arms so i keep them hidden. Yes, even in the summer. Lately i've been into stripes for some reason, so i wear stripes about... 95% of the time. Colors i've been buying recently are mostly red, black, blue or grey. I 'm not really picky when it comes to brands, i can buy a sweater for $ 40 but i also own some that were like $10... so it really depends. Overall i do own a nice amount of clothing but i rarely wear half of it, i always find myself wearing the same things over and over again. Shoes i wear are either Skechers or Converse like shoes (you know the ones i mean ) As far as jewelry goes i usually wear one earring (in my right ear) and that's about it, i like small but cute earrings.. not those huge hoops some people wear. When i go out to the movies or something i also trow on a necklace now and then. So yeah, my style is a bit simple, but i feel comfy in it.

Wow, Sammie, you wear long sleeves even in the summer? How hot does it get in Holland? I know it's very far north. Does it get very hot? I hate to think of you suffering like that!
Have you thought of quarter length or three quarter length sleeves? Those are great for covering parts of your arms, but staying a little cooler. I especially love the new quarter length butterfly sleeves that are so big right now. The cover the top quarter of the forearm and are open and flouncy, so they're super flattering and let some breeze in. I hope they stay in style for a while.
I wear a lot of sleeveless in the summer, even though my arms aren't the best. I just get so hot and sweat a lot if I don't. I'd rather be comfortable than anything.

I walk funny, and as a result, I have funny legs...lol. I even wear pants in the summer, so I understand where you're coming from with the sleeves. I don't own a single pair of shorts.

Nice pics, Maria! You were a really pretty teenager and you're a very pretty lady now! You should totally dye your hair blonde. I bet everyone would think you're Holly Madison! ;D
I'm very much into jackets/hoodies. They're sort of a security blanket. I don't feel comfortable with bare arms that often. I like jeans of course. Oooh and I like Vans and DC shoes. I just got a new pair of DC's and they're pretty damn spiffy. I don't like my hair short. Ummm and I like t-shirts. I wish I had more long-sleeve shirts though to hide my ugly scrawny arms lol.

This is the fashion that I strive for... LMFAO, Erin!!!! YES! Where can I get a cheap knock off of this outfit? It must be a big pain to drive in! I love your write up on your own style. You must be an amazing shopper to get designer clothes so cheap. Way to go! I wish I could go shopping with you.

I LOVE THIS THREAD! Here is my favorite "style" picture! This shows my style pretty well. I usually dress uber-casual! t-shirts are the love of my life! I read once that you should pick a body part to flaunt and then stick with it as to not over or under do it. I decided that I really like my arms so I wear almost all short sleve shirts. Jeans are also my best friend! The tighter the better but not really skinny jeans. I like a little flair at the bottom but not like bell bottoms or anything! I LOVE Diesel jeans and I also suprisingly love Hot Topic Denim line. I am also OBSESSED with shoes. I am partial to Puma and Diesel but I buy many different brands. whatever I like. DSW is a huge part of my life I go from skater to prep on a daily basis (usually a few changes a day)! Skater -----> Trendy -----> Prepy -----> I am obsessed with sunglasses too. I have well over 20 pairs....hats and scarfs too!! I wear a lot of chains too, usually two or three at a time. My look is really important to me. I am a firm believer that first impressions say alot. I am also in fashion school so every day is like a compition to see who is trendier!

Buffyfanone, I love those pictures! They are so cool.
I like your vest. I just heard that Versace or Armani or someone is showing T-shirts under vests now. Pretty crazy, huh?
I love the colors in your room.

Thanks Maria! I am hugly into t-shirts under vests! I guess I was ahead of that trend! For my final assignment in tailoring, I made a line of vests and I modeled them on all of my friends, over simple t-shirts with scarves! I will see if I can dredge up some pictures from that!

I guess my style is pretty simple. Like Jared, I'm obsessed with hoodies also, I have tons of black, gray, and dark blue hoodies. I always wear jeans, I dont know why. I used to love to go to HotTopic to buy band tee's but I dont go there anymore because of the recent suckyness of it. I refuse to buy a band tee of Panic! At the Disco, or Fall Out Boy I usually just have to shop online because the band tee's that I do want, they dont sell in stores. I wear either converse low tops, or classic slip on black and white checkered vans. and my hair. Not short. Somtimes it's short though.

But don't worry, it doesn't get all that hot over here, and i'm very used to it now. I do have some three quarter sleeve shirts, and those are pretty nice. For me it's more the elbow and up area that i dislike showing of.

I've been doing the Justin Timberlake thing recently. For the past few weeks I've been going out in waistcoats, white shirt / skinny black tie, and neckachiefs like a cowboy (which I get told by mother, all the time!). It is probably my favorite look of the moment. It's funny because I "stole" his style, but the shirt he wore in the new WCA video I have had something like that for over a year now yet nobody believes me LMAO.
I really do love fashion, and men's fashion has really took off over the past few years and is way more affordable than before. I shop mainly at Topman because have some really interesting things, I here they are going to take on the US market soon so keep an eye out.
