That's a good cover, not my favourite but still good. I wonder how Dawn gets to Tokyo? Teleports? Portal? Walks?

Just noticed something, theres a big sign in the foreground thats been censored. Could just be where 'Buffy the vampire slayer' is going.. but why censor that?  |

Its hard to make out what things are in this cover. Too dark and bulrry....
Hope Georges v cover is better.

Don't worry, Comicscontinuum always show low quality images and so when Comicbookresources or Darkhorse release the image on their site, you'll get a higher quality image. I like this cover very much, very Godzilla/Cloverfield (which I saw last weekend and thought was very good). I do wish we were able to see Dawn's face but I guess the point was that you never really get to see the 'monster's face'. I hope that the Buffy logo is on there, or maybe it's a tv that says scythe missing or something spoilery? |

hehe very funny cover and completely different to what we have seen before.
I do love jons past 3 covers despite a lot of people saying they arent they good but this one in general im not a huge fan of.
Nothing to do with jon's art but the composition of the cover art doesnt really have a centre to draw in your eye and ground the piece if that makes sense. It looks to me more of a panel from inside the comic than a main front cover. The art is still beautiful but im not sure about the idea of the cover. Would it be Drew who requests the cover be a certain way or is jon and jo whenever they read the script given free reign on what they what the cover to show?

Haha! Excellent. Giant Dawn stomping around Tokyo! Woo hoo! Great cover! And yeah I'm sure the Buffy the Vampire Slayer logo will go on that maroon coloured sign. I loved how they used to blend the logo into the environment of the cover, like on clothes or a wall etc.  |

I mean, we already know the scythe gets stolen at some point from that ad for wolves at the gate. But i think stealing willow AND and scythe. Thats gotta be for a ritual to un mojo willows slayer mojo. |
