(Keep checking back here for updates over coming months)
SlayAlive member Beth and I are organizing a charity auction on Ebay that will give you the chance to own the SlayAlive/BCC/TST cover for After the Fall Issue 3, which was created from a concept of both mine and Beth's ideas combined. The Angel Interaction covers are Limited Edition, not Ultra Rare, right? Not in this case!
Two seperate copies of the issue will be on Ebay at seperate times. BOTH will be signed by:(ACTUALLY, THIS IS WRONG. READ THE UPDATES)
Writer- Brian Lynch - SlayAlive VIP
Cover Artist- Stephen Mooney - SlayAlive VIP
Interior Artist- Franco Urru
AND
God- JOSS WHEDON!
75% of the proceeds for the first signed issue will go to Equality Now! The proceeds for the second copy will go to Beth, who is currently going through a lot of life issues with money and such.
ALONG WITH THAT... I will be taking a cover signed ONLY by JOSS (I call this RARE ) to Slay-A-Thon this year in Chicago, Illinois. Slay-A-Thon is a day of the best Buffy and Angel episodes voted on by attendees before the event, and there are tons of items auctioned off. All the money made by Slay-A-Thon goes to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. More info on that can be found in the Hellmouth section of this site.
Check back here for updates.
Right now, Brian should have the comics. That or they're still stuck in a FedEx place by his house.
UPDATE
From Beth:
"FedEx said they delivered them to the address Brian Lynch gave me on February 11th. They left it at the door. I've sent him 3 messages asking him if he got them and when he would be able to send them back, but he hasn't answered me. The 4 comics I sent plus the cost of shipping them cost me a little over $50, and I'm assuming I've lost that now, since he won't answer my messages.
What I've decided to do is ship 5 comics to Joss Whedon to sign and forget about everyone else, considering the cost of shipping them and other hassles that have arisen (customs laws and whatnot). Joss is the biggest name we had, so I think he'll be enough. It sucks that we won't have the others, but nothing can be done it seems.
I'll likely ship out the comics to Joss on Monday. Hopefully, his assistant will get them signed and sent back fairly quickly."
UPDATE from BRIAN LYNCH
UPDATE from BETH
UPDATE
Beth received the comics and they will be sent to the big man on Monday!
UPDATE!
Beth sent the comics to Joss on Monday, and we're hoping to get them back next week. She also sent two seperate comics to Stephen, which will be on Ebay seperatly.
IMPORTANT UPDATE!
Okay, HUGE UPDATE:
The Brian/Joss -signed comics are in! Please go crazy wild with this auction and post about it EVERYWHERE!!! An ebay link will be up VERY soon. The comics that were sent to Stephen will be sent to Franco as well.
Also, Joss "EXTREMELY" liked the cover of the comic. Thanks to SlayAlive for voting it as Issue 3's winning concept, and to Phil and Kevin for doing this for the fans, and, curse me for forgetting, Stephen Mooney for doing such a terrific job on the cover!
Also, Beth WILL be sending the Stephen-signed covers to Franco.

UPDATE from BRIAN LYNCH
I just checked my myspace messages, I am so sorry. The comics are signed and in the Fed Ex package and everything. It's been a week of deadlines and I suck. I will send it out tomorrow, my apologies. Is it too late? My bad my bad my bad.
UPDATE from BETH
I'll wait for the package from Brian and then send those on to Joss. I'm not going to risk sending them overseas, which makes me sad because I really, really wanted Stephen Mooney's autograph on them since he did such an amazing job on my cover idea. I really wanted Franco, too. He is an amazing artist.
