When did they say surprise person, though? They just said "person Angel thought he'd never see again." Seemed as if they just did that so the ending of #5 wouldn't be spoiled. The issue that has a "mystery person" is #7, which is--in all probablity--Cordy. But #9, I'd bet my bank account is just Fred. Not to say "just Fred" (lol) because Fred rocks, but you know what I mean.

Gotcha. I can see Cordy being in Conner's story...but not making a comeback, just as a spirit or something.
I think you're right about the "surprise" in #9 was just not to spoil #5.
The person I'd least expect?? Whistler.

Whistler would be interesing. (Though, thing is, I have a theory about Whistler being someone we've already seen in Season 8 of Buffy. I was thinking about who Whistler is and what he does and what his purpose is... and it matches up *exactly* with Twilight's idealogy).

Darla would be another interesting concept, but I don't think she'd be the big reveal Joss would use since she was the big surprise at the end of season 1.
I think Fred, Doyle, or Cordelia would be among the ones Joss would pick.

Have you written this theory in Twilight the manipulator-thread? I mean, he seemed pretty powerless and weak in seaon 2 of buffy, but so did willow and look at her now. |
