Anyhoo, I just couldn't resist letting you know that the recurring roles have actually been cast for some time now. I'm shocked that any part of our casting process hasn't been leaked somehow. And though I'm a fan of secrets, I'll give you the last two pieces of this particular puzzle:
November (who will be recurring but does not appear in the pilot) will be played by the luminous Miracle Laurie.
Dr. Claire Saunders will be played by... yet another name I'm gonna have trouble remembering how to spell... Amy Acker.
All in all, pound for pound, soup to nuts, man vs beast, it's a pretty amazing ensemble. I'm not sure how I landed this troupe, but rest assured I'm gonna write bestest good word for talkacting to them yes! They're in good hands.

AMY ACKER! WHOOOOOOOOO! If Alexis Denisof didn't score a part on the show then Amy Acker was definitely the other person I wanted to see get a part. Way to go Amy!

I was also hoping Alexis would be on the show. That man needs a job! Maybe he'll be a guest star sometime? Along with many other Whedonverse actors. (Hoping)

Well, Alexis has been doing a lot of voiceover work for cartoons so that counts as work, we just don't get to see his handsomely rugged good looks.
I'm excited about Amy, though...she's so adorable, and two pieces of former Joss eye candy (Eliza and Amy) does my feelings hurt not.

I just read the character descriptions again, and was reminded that Amy's character is "scarred from a razor attack". I don't want to see the beautiful Amy Acker all scarred up!

I'm so excited that Eliza and Amy are both in this. I've got such high hopes for Dollhouse that I hope I'm not jinxing myself. Joss hasn't let me down, so very excited. I just finished watching 'Serenity' and thought to myself that he keeps getting better and better.

If it doesn't last on FX, we should petition to get it moved to the CW. I don't think Dollhouse would work on the CW at all. I'd rather see it go to Sci-Fi channel if it doesn't work out on Fox. Odds of it moving anywhere are slim though, so we all need to hope that everyone in the U.S. watches it on premiere night. |

People, let's try to be positive here. As someone here said before, Fox will probably
be more lenient this time around, as they screwed up Firefly and they know it! So,
let's not talk about cancellation before the show's even aired.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of role he will have when he does make his Dollhouse appearance (there's no ifs, ands, or buts about it, he HAS to appear in at least one episode). I'd imagine he will be evil in some way, but I wonder if he will just show up once or stick around for half a season (or more) before kicking the bucket. His Angel appearance was my favorite of his, so I'd love to see him stick around for at least a while.

He will it will be hilarious WHEN he IS on it. He will be a bad guy and will be on an epiosode then die. He's been like that on every other one of Joss's shows
