What's your favorite Buffy Season 5 Episode? Mine's The Gift. I will make a poll for each season. After I let them run for a few weeks. I'll take the top 2 episodes from each season and put them altogether for "The Best Buffy Episode Poll". I"ll do the same as Angel, and within a few months I'll take the top 2 from each season and have "The Best Buffy/Angel Episode Poll". I think it will be cool.

No question "The Body" was an incredibly well-done episode, but it's so sad that I find it pretty tough to watch.  "Fool for Love" is my favorite episode in the entire run of the series, so that's what got my vote.  |

I think the Body is the best episode of season 5. But its painful to watch. I love watching 'fool for love', ah spike.

As far as strength of a season, not only does this season have the least amount of iffy episodes, it also is the only season with three perfect, top five episodes in it. However, I went with "The Gift." Perfectly sums up the show, and gives each character a nod. Amazing writing.

I agree with Pat, for me the season (which oddly is not one of my favourites) has so many high points. I really love Fool For Love but can't really put past how amazing The Body is.

The Body...incredibly emotional, was a little disappointed that Spike wasnt included...he did get on well with Joyce tbh...

I have to vote for "The Body" as the "Best of", even though it's tough to watch. "Family" gets my vote for "My Favorite" of the season.

The Body was good as well as Fool for Love. I also really love Out of Mindand The Weight of the World. I just had to give my vote to The Gift though. The first episode I ever saw and I cried like a newborn baby.

I went for "The Weight of rhe World" which I'm surprised doesn't get more attention from fans. This episode see the real breakdown between Glory and Ben (Glory shot up in my estimation as a character in this episode, and Clare Kramer as an actress for her portrayal. Then we also get Willow in Buffy's mind (the sound when Buffy puts the book away on the shelf and the suffocating Dawn scene - creepy), Xander and Spike trying to find Glory ("This is gonna be worth it..") and the ending set to lead straight into "The Gift". Awesome, powerful stuff.
