I think whatever Gunn has cooking can destroy magic or monsters. I think Angel is going to use that device on Wolf Ram and Hart. You know what, that's a good theory. Perhaps that's Gunn's plan, take out the senior partners and prove himself a hero. He really has a problem with embracing that he's a murderer.

Illyria get's a new body. Spike and Angel are shanshued. Fred, Cordelia, Doyle, and Wesley come back alive. Gwen can touch again. Gunn get's a soul. Everybody then lives happily ever after..... I wish.

I just don't think that the "Angel"will end on a happy note. I mean Angel's story has been one fill with some major pain. Why would the ending be any different? People are going to die, people we love. So I really wouldn't expect to see a happy ending. Angel doesn't get a happy ending, because well, he is cursed.

Maybe it's thinking it too safe, but I think it will end similarly to the end of season 2 where the crew returns from all the crazyness to (sorta) normallity. It's how I want to see it personally. Coming full circle after the Wolfram and Hart stuff of season 5. Angel, Spike, Illyria and Connor will make it out I think. Wes and Fred seem to both be stuck in limbo; so I can't see how their situation can be fixed. Maybe - considering the characters - their happy ending is being allowed to die and go to heaven together in peace.

I think the first step in defeating WRH will be destroying the contracts and that Wes will somehow sacrifice himself in doing so (as he is working after death due to his contract). That way once a WRH employee is dead, they're dead full stop. WRH have all the power now, if they were stopped in After the Fall I would find it somewhat unbelievable.

Ok my more realistic ending is very similar to henz's... I think that Wesley and Fred will finally die peacefully together. And Gunn will be staked, no more issues with that.. Lorne will leave town like he always wanted too. Groosalug will be a rogue demon hunter. Nina will go off to find her family. And that leaves Angel, Spike, Illyria, and Gwen as the new group staying at the hotel helping the helpless. I think that's a believable happy ending.

Now Lorne...hmm I'm not that mena to even think of him being killed so yeah I want him to leave towna dn go back to the basics saving one soul at a time. But I like the rest.

Didnt Joss say somewhere that when it finishes, he plans on moving some of the original Buffy characters back to BS8. If Joss is keeping to that, i doubt Spike or Angel will get Shanshu at the end of ATF.

I believe that Angel will get everyone out of hell, but will die in the process. I just want Angel to die. Not because I don't like him, but just because that's what his character deserves. He needs to go out with a bang with respect and all heroic-being. I think, he should die happily and peacefully seeing as how he hated being a vampire.
I think that'd be the perfect ending.
Also, SPOILERS, Brian Lynch...or someone like that...commented on how the ending will leave spin-off availability for only SOME characters. I believe that Angel will not be one of them.

How many issues are officially in this season? First I read it was going to be 12 and then somewhere I read it was going to be extended to 15? Has anyone said officially how many issues there are going to be?
