Thje first Cordy wave were definitely the best .. the new one just doesn't look like Charisma. Too bad ! Same for Xander, the new wave make him look an old man :/

The thought of this wave was pretty good, I really liked the figures. There were many problems though. The Cordelia figures couldn't stand properly even on her base. it was hard to get her to stand. Cordelias head was looking down instead of straight ahead. Cheer Cordelia's outfit and shoes weren't accurate. Xanders military outfit wasn't accurate either. I think that instead of repainting the variants, they should have done minor sculpt changes and different paint applications. I also think that Cordelia could've used one more variant, having a "Halloween" Cat Cordelia to go with the "Halloween" Military Xander.

^ Well there was a new sculpt for Cheer Cordy, but the mold "broke" so it changed to a repaint.
Why they did Xander with longer hair has always confused me. Both figures are based on him with short hair.
They're great looking figures though. I have them all and they're some of my favs.

I just got Purple Dress Cordy off of Ebay yesterday. (What am I? like 6 years late?) I ended up getting it for like 35 bucks MOC which was pretty good I guess. She is IMPOSSIBLE to stand without the base, especially since you have to bend the knees for the face to be looking foreward and not down. I love all of her girly stuff, and seeing her posed on a grave with a prada bag, cell phone, and stake really makes me laugh. I also have Cheerleader Cordelia (received it last week), which I'm not crazy about, but I got her cheap and I'm a completionist at heart.
I really have no desire to get the Xanders.......they look horrible, are super expensive, and Military Xander has been released again by DST. (I know its a different episode, but basically the same idea) ill track em down if I win the lottery or if I find it cheap ill pick it up, but otherwise........no thanks.

The Xanders *are* really expensive! And I'm kind of a $10 action figure geek, so the chances I'll ever own the old Military Xander are slim (although not impossible).

I can justify spending a lot on a figure if its good (up to I think $40 is my limit) but the Xanders just weren't very good. Accessories are a major selling point for me on a figure, and Xander only has an axe (which has been released numerous times) and his hands are moulded closed. *sigh*
