Yesterday I was watching Becoming Part II as part of my s.2 marathon. Angel is sent to a hell dimension, right? And we don't know which one. Then, in Anne (3x01) he comes back to Earth.
Now my crazy and very much complicated theory is: what if Angel had been sent to the HellA dimension, where he gains all the memory of his future and fights to get back? He somehow manages to find a way to go back to Earth, but he will be doing it all over again, returning to 1998 (Anne)? He's forced to live again and again his fights and battles, from LA right up to the battle in HellA.
complicated yes and paranoid yes. but it might be, right?

ummm not likely at all! lol but I think that would be a cool idea, if it didn't last too long for him to get back to the right time.

Hmm. That sounds like a very complicated fanfic written by an evil writer.
It's an evil and hopeless faith. I like it.
Btw, not to sound like a know-it-all, but he returns in Faith, Hope & Trick, not Anne.

I don't think that it would happen, but it has the kind of ending that "Angel" needs. A hopeless one. The show started on a downer and thats the way I think that it should end. Angel's story is not a happy tale. So it makes since that is story will end bad or at least I hope that is how it ends!

I feel like if this were true, then he would've stopped Buffy's death, Fred's death, Cordelia's death, Darla being brought back, Jasmine being born, Cordy's coma, loosing his soul in season 4, going to wolfram and hart, spike being brought back, Connor's sociopathy, countless other bad things. (not that spike being brought back is bad at all!)

This is the type of ending that would completely erase all 5 seasons of the television show...do we really want that? It's an interesting idea, I just don't see how it is even possible considering what the price of it would be.

Interesting idea, but very unlikely. Especially as all the dead characters would probably be saved cause he'd know about their deaths.
