Who do you like better, Fred or Illyria?

I went with Fred. I mean Illyria is cool and everything but come on Fred is just better and more complicated, as a character!

See I tend to disagree on that. Yes, she in the beginning she showed no remorse because that was a human emotion and she never experienced those kind of things before.

However, she did not murder Fred.
Knox did.
Saying Illyira killed Fred,in my opinion, is like blaming a child for the mother dying during child birth. Knox chose Fred knowing she would die.Illyira had no part in deciding how she would be brought back into the world.

I understand if people disagree but this is kind of how I see it.

She showed no remorse about anything at all.

And although I don't think she gave a damn about Fred's life or death, I find it hard to believe that she didn't plan her resurrection. She didn't seem surprised at all that she was brought back. True, she might not have planned it, but since she is a "God-king" I'm thinking she planned it and I figure that she knew what it would take for her to be brought back. A human life.

But I was talking about the security guards she killed. And those are the ones we know about...

Yeah, I'm not saying Illyria's a poor innocent victim. Just saying Fred's death was not intentionally planned by her. She does not understand our values, morals and emotions. Only after spending time with Wes and the others was she able to channel and process these emotions.

Like I said, I think Illyria knew that someone would die if she was ever brought back. And we don't know if she planned it or just hoped that someone would bring her back one day.

And yes, she's not human, so can not understand our emotions and is just slowly beginning to learn our ways.

I'm not sure what we are arguing about here...

Gotta love Illyria but Fred gets my vote! I cried so much when she died I know Amy never left the show but Fred was amazing

I really loved Fred more but I like Illyria's character too.

Now this was so not a fair vote. I love Fred and hated it when she died. Then again when Illyria first came along even though I dreaded it I eventually just thought that Illyria was just a bad@$$. She was also such a well developed character that it was hard not to like her. I was especially shocked by Amy Acker's performance she rocked it. Anyway I ended up voting for Fred.
