So I was watching "Who Are You" from Season 4 and my boyfriend said that he thought Gellar did a better job. Thinking about it I agree. The body language, facial expressions, and the Canadian sounding way Faith says about like "aboot".
She really seemed like she studied Faiths character.
Dushku did an alright job but just didn't get the characteristics down.

Yeah I think that Sarah did a better job in that episode. I really did believe that Faith was inside Buffy. Not so much the other way around.

I will have to echo balesthebloody and ladyparasyte on this one. Sarah was more convincing "as Faith".

While I liked Eliza as Buffy, "What's a stevedore?", NOTHING compares to Sarah doing the muscle bragging...... I can barely speak.

I don't know. I think Sarah tried too much to be bad. On the other hand, when I first saw Faith I also thought she was trying to hard, so I could like Geller's preformance less because I'm not a fan of bad girls.

Sarah as Faith. But she also had much more screentime in the episode, so she had more of a chance to show off what she could do. I'd noticed the way Eliza says "about", too (and that Sarah mimics it), and always thought it was weird, because the character and the actress are from Boston, and I live near Boston, and that's not the way most people around here pronounce it, so I wonder where she picked it up...?

Sarah was fantastic in that episode. She was really great as Faith.
Eliza was good too. She was a little more subtle in her performance, which considering she was playing Buffy, makes sense. Buffy was never as assertive as Faith.
I loved the confrontation in the church near the end of the episode. It was perfect. And Sarah saying "because it's wrong". Such a classic line.

Sarah was good. Better than Eliza. But I personally don't think Eliza is that strong of an actress. Shes ok but thats abooot it.
She's getting stronger though. When she came back for the final season it was like a new person.

When she came back for the final season it was like a new person. I agree with you there, but I don't think the change was for the better. Something just didn't 'click' for me with the way she played her in S7--like Eliza had lost the knack for the character or something. It's odd, because I didn't really notice that problem in her 3-ep stint on "Angel" S4, just a few weeks earlier, but she got back to "Buffy", and somehow she just wasn't quite Faith anymore...

Gellar as Faith. Definitely better. I guess Eliza didn't have alot of screentime but SMG just seemed to do a better job. She was believeable.

Hmm....
SMG over did it in my opinion, but you could put that down to Faith playing around as Buffy. Eliza did a good job overall but once or twice I noticed her own gestures or movements which just screamed Faith and killed the illusion.

Though I think they both did well, SMG really was more convincing. Her performance may have been a bit over the top, but she was immediately recognizable as Faith.
(I very much enjoyed the 'aboot' bit, as well.)

SMG did a better job I think. Eliza wasn't bad but she seemed to be scowling throughout the whole episode...it was weird

Sarah did a much better job. She sat, walked, and talked like Faith. Eliza, on the other hand, I don't think is as skilled as an actress...and also she wasn't in that much of the episode. Most of it was Faith in Buffy's body as to that's what the audience would want to see.

Eliza almost had it down, but apparently didn't study Sarah's movements and expressions as well as Sarah studied Eliza's.
I went with Sarah on this one. She really had Faith down, though a bit overdone.

Dushku as Buffy i think. I thinks he did brilliant doing Buffy. I felt SMG was trying to hard if you get me. She wasn't bad it was just she couldn't pull Faith off a whole lot.

personally I though Eliza did the better job. I could nearly hear Sarah when Liza is shouting "She's with my mother!" and when she's talking to Giles
