That email says "most all cancelled figures are still available to us as exclusives" but the Willow variants were never "officially" cancelled so they may not mean them. More than likely DST has plans for the Willows already so I would think that he means that they have pick from most of the judge wave.

Finally a snippet of new from BCC on Buffy Buy A Figure Day 2. It was included in their news letter they sent out yesterday and stated: BUFFY BUY-A-FIGURE DAY Thanks to all of you for making the Buy-A-Figure Day campaigns a huge success! Our talks with DST continue, the good news as most all cancelled figures are still available to us as exclusives. With a little luck and effort we hope to get something rolling right after the busy holiday season. There are details still to be worked out, and we hope to be able to annouce something more concrete soon. Unfortunately, due to their treatment of international customers, I won't be ordering one from them, as I am sure many others won't either. Great news! I'm hoping for either Prinicipal Wood or The Judge.

I'm in Canada as well - and, yes, BCC service has slowed down considerably for us, over the last year - time was they were the fastest shipper of all for me. But, I will still buy from BCC as long as the shipping costs do not get out of hand (as they did for the "free" Buffy comics).
I also buy from Pixel Barrel - which will also ship to the US, by the way, so check it out. They have some good sales now and then and are very honest. For example, whenever the shipping cost actually turned out to be lower than the standard fee I paid; Pixel Barrel credited my PayPal account with the difference -you don't see that happen very often!

Sadly though the only way we would be able to get the Judge is if they gave us all the the Drusilla/Oz/Wood wave since the Judge was a Build-A-Figure.

The last SlayAlive heard was that we need to hold back on a Buy-A-Figure Day III. I dont think I can go into any more detail. I dont even remember if there is any more detail.

*Double Post* Guys, I want to thank everyone for being so, um... I ca't think of a good word. For being a part of the BAF days and wanting more. I do see a few posts about international shipping and that has been a big issue at other places, but everyone here supports the idea and is very patient about whats going on. So thank you all... ...for not being like this: btvsfigs.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=angel2&action=display&thread=1189149349&page=15Phil is doing something for us all by establishing the BAF Days and Kevin is doing the best he can over at TST. After seeing the posts at BtVSFigs... I love you guys!

I'd just like to say I don't think it is fair, and actually very rude, to call out a topic on the BtVSFigsForum as the way NOT to behave. Both SlayAlive and BtVSFigsForum share a lot of the same members, so to make those members that have posted about their problems in that thread out to be ill behaved is in very poor taste, insulting to them and the forum as a whole. I've seen posts on here get out of hand, and members conduct themselves in just as poor a fashion as well. TST/BCC and international shipping problems is not something new. It has been a problem for awhile now and some members have had HORRIBLE experiences, including communication with TST/BCC or lack there of. If you follow some of the stories and what they have gone through, can you really blame them for venting? Personally I have never had a problem with TST/BCC and support them for that reason alone - but if I did have some of the experiences I've read about, it would only be natural to rethink my support. However I am not posting to make a point for or against TST/BCC and the situation, but rather that I find that comment to be rude against the members of BtVSFigsForum. It's those type of comments that cause division between forums that are suppost to be sister/brother forums, and make people feel unwelcome.

I respect that the forums are brother/sister, and I am not looking at BtVSFigs as a whole in that post. I have read the posts, and I would be pretty ticked too. Venting is good, it gets anger out of the system, and it looks like TST has made some people pretty angry. But, there are a few posts that can be taken to say that this is a scam by TST or Kevin. From what I've seen and read of Kevin's performance in all of this (and I've seen a bit more than most), he should be respected not accused. That post is about only certain posts within the thread at BtVSFigs and if you'd like me to name the posts I can. But I have nothing against the forum or the way it is ran. Sorry for seeming rude, and I hope this post is read by more of our members before they quote my first post. -Tim

I know that it wasn't your intention to attack BtVSFigsForum, and I know the posts you are referring to. It is just the way the post reads - just seeing the comment with the BtVSFigsForum URL, without going and reading the whole thread (knowing the background info) - we come off looking bad. But, again can you really blame people for thinking ill of TST/BCC when they have had such problems with them? I'm optimistic; I KNOW they act with good intentions and are doing far more then any other retailer - something will come of the BAF days, its just a matter of time. However, if you are one of those people who waits months for their orders, or refunds, but still spent a lot of money on the BAF day to support the cause, and then end up waiting months for your order, with no communication from TST/BCC AND no word on the BAF day turning out a new figure - of course accusations are going to come about. I know there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that most members don't get to see, but I can understand how it's hard to have faith in someone/something when you have a few hundred dollars tied up and you can't even get an e-mail back from someone to find out whats going on. Even patients has a limit.

Last I knew CowboyGuy (Phil) was taking care of adding new members on BtVSFigsForum, cause our main admin went MIA a long time ago and we have always had a bit of a problem functioning since then, because Phil as the most control and he already has SlayAlive to admin.

I am a member in both forums - although I spend more time on this one. I've read the posts on both about the issues with TST/BCC and some of the more "hotly" worded ones. Here is what I posted on the BtVSfigs - I think it applies here as well.
Have a little faith!
I've been buying from TST for a couple of years now and all orders came super fast - until - they started the "Save Buffy" programs. I believe that the response was so strong that they were overwhelmed with orders from all of us fans. Yeah, I've had to wait a few extra weeks to get my orders, but I'm not going anywhere and they are worth the wait.
I am also in Canada so have to wait longer than US customers due to the Customs/Border process which sometimes adds to the delays (and every now and then they decide to charge me duty and tax).
I also email BCC/TST to check on the status of my orders - politely, I might add - and I ALWAYS get a return email, eventually.
Yes, you can probably get your stuff from somewhere else quicker - but those other places are not trying to do their darndest to save the Buffy-verse. Loyalty goes both ways!!
I'd say sorry for ranting, but I'm not - I'd like to think that courtesy, patience, compassion and understanding are things that Buffy fans share.
Give TST/BCC a break - they're on our (the fans') side.
I would also like to add my thanks to Phil for his extraordinary efforts on our behalf.

I am also a member of both forums, and following is my response to your quote, as posted in BTVS Figs: "I also live in Canada and I was one of T&ST's biggest supporters, however, politeness only goes so far. Yes, I understand that it takes longer to ship to Canada, however, it shouldn't take 2 months and then still no sign of an order and absolutely no response to e-mails as to a shipping date. When I first joined BCC, I got response to all my e-mails and just listened to other international customers who reported non-receipt of merchandise and non-responses to e-mails. Alas, I have now become part of that group, and give it time, you will also. You can only put up with it for so long, and then you have to act. I was willing to contribute to the cause by purchasing items on the BAF days, but I won't let them become a "charity case" and not expect them to deliver my purchase. Heck, I didn't even need the figures, I have them all, but I was willing to make a purchase just to support getting an exclusive figure. It's not like international customers don't pay enough for shipping. They pay too much as far as I am concerned, so T&ST is not losing anything by having international customers, they are still making their profit, and then some on inflated shipping costs. It's really too bad they have alienated so many international customers. I am sure they will feel an impact when they no longer received orders from them."
