Guys...i was just reading Angel after the fall issue 4...
And I saw a picture of spike holding a scythe...with cars in the air...
I don't know if this has been said before...
Page 13-15... you see spike in the past and then in the future?

I think it's been confirmed by Brian Lynch, no less, that it wasn't the Scythe that Spike was holding. It was a regular battle-axe of sorts. Also, should flying cars be something that comes up in the future, I doubt that they'll only be found in Haddyn. And yeah, this came up when AtF #4 came out. Welcome to the forum, though! EDIT: I realized that you weren't saying that Spike was in Haddyn. But yes, he did time slip into the future.

I wonder if this was included with purpose...

I wonder if this was included with purpose... ' Brian said that it didn't, I believe. I think ot was just a scene that looked like something in Fray, no significance.

both angel and spike had futuristic versions of themselves due to illyria's timeslips.
angel was aged with futuristic clothes (while illyria was crucifying him) and spike also wore the same blade runner-esque/fray-era garb with the flying cars and beheaded spider.
being that all of angel's timeslips showed him at very distinct periods of his life that actually happened, it would be odd if there wasn't something to all of illyria's timeslips. meaning that at some point, a slightly-aged angel (not an old, bearded man yet) and spike killing spider happens around 200 years in the future, unless the future as it stands now in illyria's chronological timeline is changed.
it's a little bit like time bomb... her timeline is going wonky, but instead of events that are all out of order, she seems to be changing the people around her to past and future events.
i'll actually be disappointed if it is meaningless/inaccurate. spike thought it meaningful to note that illyria's timeslip revealed him to have beheaded spider. i would hope that the timeslips that illyria made around both characters have a purpose. while illyria's future slips have been changed (re: time bomb), they've never been inaccurate to the then current timeline.
my personal pet theory is that perhaps when hell-a is released back into the world, it is after buffy/twilight ended the world of magic. this would be a great explanation for how the "lurks"/demons started to seep into fray's timeline after being banished. it'd also explain why we saw fray-era angel and spike timeslips.

I bet it is meaningless as we already have heard characters from Angel that started on Buffy would be coming to season 8 but not for a while. Therefore Spike couldn’t be seen in the fray arc since he started on buffy and than switched to Angel .

Given recent development in Issue #33, I was going to start a thread about whether or not people want the time-slips to remain canon. So, I am looking at the old thread titles to see if this has already been asked.
It doesn't seem as if Angel's timeslips went as far into the future as Spike's timeslips. And they would be very important.
Angel it is shown becomes an old, haggard, bitter man. He hadn't seen Illyria in a old time it seems.
Spike in the time of flying cars still seems to be a vampire. Spider and Co. still seem to be together in the future.
In a 'flashback' timeslip with Spike and Spider and Co. they are all alive. Spider and Co. seem the same age in appearance as when Spike first saw them. This means they were around when Spike was a small boy. The house they are in front of is interesting if it's supposed to represent Spike's country house or whatever.
I'd like it if Illyria and Spider and Co. can be in Season 8. And Connor even.
