3. Buffy Video Game for Consoles like the Wii, Ps3, and Xbox 360 4. Fray Animated (An animated version of the comic) I love these two ideas, Illyria's Pet. I think Fray would be a great animated movie, or even a great show. And A BUFFY WII GAME WOULD BE AMAZING..why hasn't this been made already?? |

Don't know if this would work or if it's even a good idea, but maybe once the petition is actually made, we could ask Scott Allie to mention it in the Slay the Critics section. Just briefly described it and give the URL.

Ok guys as most of you know, I make the Season 8 Videos on youtube. Emmie thought it would be a great idea for me to make a commercial type video to add to my youtube account to get people to sign the petition. I'll be using the voices of Iceeh, The Chosen, and Danner. Here is what Emmie wrote:
Buffy, Willow and Xander are just standing around in a living room.
Willow: “Bored now.”
Xander: “So what do you guys wanna do tonight?”
Buffy: “I dunno. I miss the Bronze. It was so…bronzy.”
Xander: “Hey! I hear there’s a cool new show on TV.”
*click noise*
Screen does that snowball thingie. Then shows the clip of Buffy The Animated Series.
After the clip ends its back to Buffy, Willow and Xander.
Buffy says in awe: “Oh. My. God.”
Xander says in awe: “Cooooooooool…”
Willow: “Wow, but Hey! Why was I freaking out about vampires? I’m a super witch, vampires of the world better watch themselves!”
Screen Fades to Black
Says in white text first that says: “Help Resurrect Buffy”
Then screen says: “Sign the Petition”
Then screen says: “Buffy Lives in 2-D!” with the link underneath
So I'm gonna make it and it should be on my account within a day or too. That should get at least another 100 signatures..

Well I'm all for expanding the Buffyverse some more so if I can help I will. I've already sent the Animated Series link to some online friends who I know like Buffy.
Also I was a video major in college and I think I've got some pretty good video editing skills if people are still interested in making more petition vids.

I've got another concept for a video brewing in my head. Opens with a black screen and white text that says "Animated", next screen says "To be Full of Life". Then we're shown comic panels of numerous Buffyverse characters. It stays on each character long enough for the camera focus to slide around, simulating movement but still showing that they are frozen. Like they're trying to break free. The last character comic panel I want to finish with Fray and have it zoom in on her eyes. Then fade to black. White text says "Do you want to be animated?" Final screen says: Resurrect the Buffyverse Sign the Petition www.thepetitionsite.com/1/slayalive-we-want-buffyanimated*and something about Slayalive |

Well, Im no video major, but im pretty good on photoshop....and making animated gifs, which can then be used in a video
im thinking. having flashes of each character and then blending/morphing into their cartoon counterpart.
having some wicked sound effects in the background, maybe using the montage from "The Gift" in the background.
then finish the video with a picture of Buffy standing on top of a crypt, hair blowing, rain falling, lighting in the background, with some wicked sound effects in the background
and then have some witty words on the screen.

Buffy was a seminal show and it should not have ended...however it did but now we have the comics, but that's not enough please bring this fantastic Buffy: Animated series to out tv screens. Thanks!  |
