I read the script a couple days ago. I saw no harm in it since the episode doesn't exist anymore, and I loved it! I'm worried now though. If FOX thought it would confuse the audience... they must be idiots. There was nothing complicated about it, no more complicated than an episode of Buffy, Angel or Firefly. The script felt like you were reading a Joss Whedon episode, as it should. I just hope FOX hasn't dumbed it down too much. If for some insane reason I hate the first episode, I know who to blame.
