Finally a Buffy soundtrack!

Have you always been wanting a full Buffy Soundtrack with scores like the Angel one? Well Rounder Records has decided to release one also Bones is releasing one as well!
Jeff Beck has cult, Beck Hansen has his and Christophe Beck obviously does too. How else to explain the Sept. 9 release of Beck's music cues from the "Buffy and the Vampire Slayer" TV show - five years after its last episode aired.
Rounder Records has pulled together 29 tracks from seasons 2, 3 and 4 (fall 1997 through spring 2000) of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Season 1, pictures, was released in 1999.
Beck, who scored most of the series, mixed and produced the soundtrack. Beck also scored "Once More, With Feeling," the series' musical episode for which the soundtrack has sold more than 200,000 copies.

Also Amazon has released some news of a Bones Soundtrack coming out very soon no news on the Tracklisting as yet but we hope to hear some great songs featured that has played on the show for the last 3 years. Let's hope we have 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' will be featured and some others that the cast have been singing.

YEAH!! Finally a Buffy Score Album. I already have a lot of the score music but I'm definatley buying this. My only hope is that this is Buffy: Score Album Part 1 becasue there is still a ton of music missing. Why did they only go up to season 4? They should have just made it a two disk edition and put on all the score music. So hopefully they will release another in the future.

what i really want is drusilla's nursery theme from reunion / wesley's fred-stalking music from billy and the mwahaha evil-cordy music... i think it's all the same creepy piano theme or very similar.

angel is the one that REALLY needs the release. tons of missing music. robert j. kral is right up there with christophe beck.

kind of a shame about the rehashing of the already released seasons 2-3 christophe beck scores when there is so much unreleased stuff from ats .

This is the greatest news! One of my favorite things about Buffy has always been the score. In some shows I hardly notice it, but in Buffy it was just so beautiful and heartbreaking in many parts that you couldn't ignore it.
I'll be so happy to have this. Yay!

Did Chrisophe Beck not work on S1?
It says something about the S1 score being released in '99 but I don't know anything about that. To my knowledge the only soundtrack released around that time was BVTS: The Album.

christophe beck didn't come in until season 2... season 1's score is not particularly talked about much--very minimalist. the bronze acts were really the focus in that season musically. nobody really had themes. you can even hear some of the somewhat bad season 1-like scores at the end of when she was bad. christophe beck changed the cheap quality pretty quick, though.

christophe beck also did the "i'm game" score from city of... war zone also reused the becoming, pt. 2 fight scene score.

Yeah, I have most of these on my iPod already because some were available on Christophe Beck's site at one point. I'm still going to buy this though to support it and because there are some I don't have. I'm excited for this. I'm just upset that "Little Miss Muffet" isn't on here, that's probably my favorite piece of music on the show.

and the Hush nursery theme. I really just want them to do a score album for Buffy season 1-7. I am a little dispointed that it is only going to season 5 because the music that plays when Buffy and Spike first have sex in the falling down house is absolutley brilliant, enfact a lot of music is pretty good from season 6.
