I can't wait for The Force Unleashed.I downloaded the demo and it was freaking awesome.
MGS4 is incredible.I'm a huge Metal Gear fan from back in the NES days
Assassin's Creed was great.(although the ending was kinda weak.It needs a sequel)

Awww. I really want one. Just saving up some pennies first. Its looking like I will end up leaving it until Christmas though. I am a massive Metal Gear Solid fan, absolutely love the series so far. Cannot wait til I get MGS4 and a PS3. Its the primary reason Im actually buying a PS3 to be honest lol. I have been staying away from any message boards regarding MGS4 though so I don't get spoiled. The anticipation is killing me though. So for anyone that has it or that has completed it,is it any good? Im hoping its the best yet but it will be hard to top MGS3 *Oh and no spoilers please!*

ded1 what's your PSN ID? From your post, it sounds like you have on. I am excited for The Force Unleashed as well. And eternalspikefan, this is just my opinion, but MGS4 is the best game in the series, and one of the best I've ever played. It's just fantastic.

I was going to reply to the other thread but this seems more appropiate. Anyway, yeah I've got a PS3. Had for several months now. My ID is risingdragon07.

I've just started Prototype, pretty good!! Anyone played/playing? I played this at a friends and it was O.K. The chaos gets to be a bit much sometimes and stripping away all your power at the beginning after the great opening sequence left a lot to be desired with the actual gameplay as you try and earn all your powers back.

Do you any of you watch Zero Punctuation reviews? They all tend to bash whatever is being reviewed, but they're actually pretty funny. Not trying to change the topic, just that your conversations about Prototype vs InFamous reminds me of this: www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/789-PrototypeDisclaimer: Zero Punctuation videos contain adult language.

I'm glad I'm not only one who likes his reviews and the Tomb Raider video is really funny.

The sad thing is that Tomb Raider: Underworld is basically my favorite game ever.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is easily my Game of the Year. Just an all-around stellar game that improved on the first in nearly every way (and the first was already great). One of my all-time favorites now. I've been playing my PS3 like crazy ever since August and have expanded my library quite a bit. Since August I have played: Batman: Arkham Asylum - 8/10Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - 10/10Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition - 8/10Dragon Age: Origins - 9.5/10 (RPG fans need to buy this ASAP!) Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition - 7/10Also played a few things from the PlayStation Store like Trine which was a fun and relatively easy Platinum trophy. I'm also expecting Assassin's Creed II, God of War Collection and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time for Christmas, and I'm playing through Assassin's Creed right now to get read for the sequel. And all this was just since August. What an exciting year to be in love with the PS3. Oh and since this thread got bumped back up again (yay!), post your PSN ID's if you haven't already!

I bought Assassin's Creed 2 on eBay (impulse buy) even though I haven't finished the first one yet. My biggest gripe with the first game is the repetitive back and forthing between Acre, Jerusalem, and Damascus. I mean, seriously, I spend more time riding from place to place, because I'm naturally curious, and always get sidetracked! Other than that, the original Assassin's Creed is fabulous... and IMO, deserved much of the praise heaped upon it, especially for its innovation in terms of puppeteering.
My boy loves Fallout 3. Much more than The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion (Bethesda made both games), which he felt was a severely dumbed down version of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowing. And Bioshock's artistic direction is nigh on perfect. The game is pretty good too, from what I've seen and heard (not my genre), but the atmospheric music, the overall aesthetic, and game design is fantastic. The whole art deco thing set to very period-esque everything just looks really sexy... until the Big Daddies pop up. Or any of the random splicers. He played those on the 360, though... but they have PS3 ports too.

Great reviews Xi! The PS3 Slim is the only thing on my Christmas list this year, the price drop was just too good. I can finally replace that useless Xbox 360 that does nothing and won't have to shell out over $100 for essential add ons and online play when the PS3 comes with all that and more. Will be getting Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Theives, Resident Evil 5, and Tomb Raider: Underworld. (I'd rather get a game I haven't played a billion times on the 360, but I want an easy platinum and can finally play it in HD) I'll make sure to post my ID when I get it.

(I'd rather get a game I haven't played a billion times on the 360, but I want an easy platinum and can finally play it in HD) Lara is even more fetching in HD. Apparently being an English aristocrat means that you age like fine wine... damn them! I'm kinda playing Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction on the side every now and again... it's fairly easy, and although the graphics are really cartoony, there's a lot of detail in that crazy vibrant world. I'll consider getting God of War again... the PS3 remastering sounds good and the third one will be out soonish... Only thing is, I'm not that big a fan of the franchise, since it's more slashing than actual exploring or puzzle-solving. Oh, and thanks... glad you enjoyed the reviews.
