Other than Buffy, ATF and Spike ATF I'm currently reading:
- The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite
- Watchmen
- Hellboy
- B.P.R.D. (Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense)
In fact I just finished reading BPRD: Garden of Souls and Hellboy: Conqueror Worm
I've also have all the Astonishing X-men TPBs which I often like to re-read.

Have you seen the Whedonless verson of Astonishing X-men? The art is way different... me no likey. |

I only own the Joss Whedon series, but I've read a couple from the mid 90s and all of the second run in 1999. Most of the stories are good, but I agree, John Cassaday's art is better then what I saw in the others. |

runaways and daredevil I wish I could read Army of Darkness and Hack/slash but my comic store dose not carry them I also can't wait for IDW to do ghostbusters

Besides Buffy Season 8, Angel: After The Fall, and Spike: After The Fall, I am currently reading: The Dark Tower Series and The Stand comics. You? Hey, me too!  Actually, I should amend that. I gave up on "The Dark Tower" after the 11th issue. The first arc was pretty good, tho 6 issues wasn't nearly enough to tell a story as large as "Wizard and Glass" (remember that issue #1 was the flashback from "The Gunslinger", and #2-#7 were W&G). But once it got beyond the novels and into the new material, I quickly lost interest--and the new material was actually what I'd most been looking forward to! But it just wasn't done very well. And Jae Lee's art got old real fast. He clearly has either never read the books, or only read them once and then didn't retain very much.  The first issue of "The Stand", on the other hand, was very impressive. It's my all-time #1 favorite book ever, and it looks like this series is going to stay very true to the novel--right down to including the same song lyrics on the inside cover! I've also recently started reading "The Amazing Spider-man" right from the very first issue (up to #53 so far). The only other time I was ever into comic books was 8th/9th grade, when all my friends were (and so I started reading them, too, just so I could be part of the conversation  ), and ASM was their (and, in turn, my) #1 book. So it's sort of a sense of nostalgia, going back thru them--many of which I've never read before. |

3. Y: The Last Man (wow... too many books end with "man" or "men")
4. Batman: Year One
5. Batman: Dark Victory
6. The Buffy Omnibuses
7. Grant Morrison's New X-Men (one of the better books in the X-Men universe... I love Frank Quitely's art style in the issues he did pencil, even more so that Cassaday's immaculately penciled pages in AXM)
8. Whedon's AXM run
9. The new AXM... the art is interesting... the approach is a lot more "watercolor-ish" and "ink wash-ish"
10. Batman: Arkham Asylum

Oh, I didn't know there was a comic series based on The Stand! That's one of my all-time favourite books. Definitely gonna look into that.
(At the moment, I'm just reading Buffy: Season 8, Angel: After the Fall, Spike: After the Fall and The Sandman.)

I also just recently finished reading "Y: The Last Man." Besides "After the Fall", it is easily the greatest comic series I've ever read. Just amazing all the way through.
