Hmph.... The song title says it all! I want more. I was trying to convince myself thought the entire VMA show that it was a joke and Britney was going to close the show with an amazing performance....but the shows over now and all she brought was a shitty 1/2 assed attempt at an opening act! That was the lamest excuse for a comeback that I can imagine! What the ef happened to Chris Angel and all the so called "Rehearsing" that Brit supposedly did wish CA?? I bet good money that it will come out that MTV is disappointed with the Brit comeback and that she canceled the Chris Angel effects at the last min and decided to make up her own choreography on the fly or some shiz like that. Not to mention that she looked a hot mess! She couldn't dance worth a shit and she wasn't even syncing her lips to the right words! She kinda looked drunk or high or something... I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we get reports of Brit being taken from the Palms by ambulance due to an overdose or something..... I really think it has come to that. I am definitely disappointed

I felt so bad for her, I couldn't believe MTV even let it air ... she must of been better in rehearsals, because there is no way they would have willing let that on TV. She dances like crap, looked worse and like you said couldn't even lip sync it. She really blew her one chance at making a comeback, because it's going to take months to shake off this noise dive. She looked more coked out then I've ever seen a artist - including some of Courtney Love's public disasters.
It really brought the show down, and the show overall was pretty bad this year .. I don't know what they were trying to do, but it had no flow and it seemed like some of the best performances were the stuff happening in the rooms that they showed in and our of commercial.

I must admit that I am disappointed. I was really hoping to see a big production and some hot choreography.
What we got was shiteous!!! She looked dazed, nervous, bored...something! Hung over?!?!?
I hate the blue contacts and I don't like her new hair. I guess the past really is gone forever.
But her song still kicks. And I bet the bad performance will still make her the talk of the town anyway. Another song leaked, called Kiss You All Over and I am in love with it. It sounds like old-school Janet Jackson. And that kicks in by book.
Maybe she's rusty? Kanye West said she was crazy to open the show when "she hasn't had a hit record in years"
Either way I was bored for two hours. Britney was still one of the highlights IMO. The whole thing sucked! The nominations were wack. FERGIE is the best female of the year?!

It's terrible that shes on a comeback and clearly still in a state. White trash will only sell so much, we've got enough terrible music of that form from Paris Hilton thanks.
I heard the good Doctor was there? Anyone see Dr Dre?

Dr. Dre was introduced (craptastically) by Mary J Blige. He introduced the record of the year I think but I could be wrong. I can't really remember for sure what award it was. He said that his new album was coming soon and he looked AMAZING! His muscles were practically ripping through his shirt!

Uh poor Britney! Why do I always love train-wrecks? Britney, Whitney (who thankfully is now better and coming back!), Lindsay Lohan, Lauryn Hill....

I felt so bad watching her. Poor girl has had such a bad couple of years and she clearly wasn't ready for this. She looks so frightened.

I rewatched.
It seems like she was nervous and just managed to hit her marks. Like she was unable to put any "uummph" into the routine. I feel bad for her.
Also, I am kinda not liking Sarah Silverman anymore. There's a difference between making fun of someone, and making fun of their kids. I don't think it was funny that she called them the "cutest mistakes ever". Not cool IMO. They're kids for goodness' sake! Why can't a line be drawn. Sure, make fun of Britney...but making fun of defenseless kids is really low. It wasn't funny and I think I heard some boos from the crowd. She was MARRIED to Kevin Federline. It wasn't like she was just being promiscuous and stumbled into having kids. She was a married woman!!

Sarah Silverman sucks ROYALLY. She's most famous for her crappy, and come on if you were gonna diss Paris I could have done SO much better and I kinda like her, attempt to put Paris down.
She really is a sad person. I hate people who put other people down where there at there lowest just for a few laughs, it's what childish bullies do at school.
Listen to this Sarah - YOU.F*CKIN.SUCK!

Well, yeah. Haha. Britney's performance was rather underwhelming. Hmph. Oh well. We're all still talking about her, and there's no such thing as bad publicity. I'm sure her record will do amazingly, and she'll be super. As for Sarah Silverman...I &hearts her. Hahahaha. Yeah, poor Britney's kids, I don't know that she's especially clever, but I find her amusing. Uh...if you could have done SO much better at dissing Paris, are you a sad person?

People are talking about it more and more. Maybe it was on purpose after all.
In Hollywood, any press is good press. :/

First off- i think it is unfair to say she was high/drunk/hungover etc. Give her some credit. As i sid on the other forum- the single is a great, up-beat, sexy single. Britneys slow-paced 'dance' routine really didn't match. If cutting the dance down to slug-pace, she could have at least sung live. I was really voting for her to do well (as was EVERY celeb there), but....i was so let down! I have felt bad for Britney for the past 2/3 years for all the crap that everybody puts her through- but this was her chance, and i felt she just wasn't taking it serious at all. And Sarah Silverman was pathetic. Her abusive, shit jokes were very bad. Nobody really found the jokes funny. IMO, all the laughs she got, was nervous laughs. Sorry for all you fans

First off- i think it is unfair to say she was high/drunk/hungover etc. Give her some credit. I don't think she was high, but I think drunk/hungover/tipsy are all valid possibilities. Yes nerves were involved, but it's been well documented that she was late for rehearsals and had been drinking a large amount of frozen margaritas before and upon arrival to the rehearsal. Really, she shouldn't of had anything alcoholic to drink before the performance. Her body isn't in the performance quality shape it use to be in, and for a performance that was her comeback in so many ways, your right she didn't take it seriously. I also don't think the dance routine was supposed to be slow paced either - she just couldn't keep up with her dancers. People have said when the dancers were going through the routine with a stand-in, the number was amazing, and if you focus just on the dancers, they are going with the vibe of the song well. But then Britney couldn't do a number of the more complex moves and they had to be left out.

Sarah's joke about Britney's kids being mistakes wasn't so much a jibe at the kids themselves, more so at Britney and her choices in life. She is allowed to have the opinion that Britney had her kids at the wrong time, I have that same opinion. Britney is not stable enough for kids, as displayed by her behavior, and clearly had them with the wrong person for the wrong reasons. The word mistake doesn't apply to a child once it is born, it is more so applied to the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy and "the act".
Her other jokes were funny, I think you need to "get" her. She simply does not care what people think of her, in fact she is probably getting off on all the anti-Sarah messages from Britney fans. She has no boundaries when it comes to sex, race, religion, etc... which is much needed in a very PC world. Let her speak her mind, if you don't agree with her that is fine, but don't assume that nobody else finds her funny or interesting. She isn't nasty she is honest, and targets those that have made themselves targets (Paris & Britney are media whores!).
Oh, and Paris IS a slut, she has a sex tape you know??

Haha. A bit random, but on my way to Target today, I passed a Jiffy Lube whose sign read: "We perform better than Britney."
Oh snap! I had a good giggle over it.

Uh...if you could have done SO much better at dissing Paris, are you a sad person? No I'm not sad. Because I would never do something like Sarah did. However, I said IF I was GOING TO, I would have at least given it a good shot - her attempts were just CRINGEWORTHY! I agree with Afer 100%!
