Her new single debuted this morning, what do you guys think of it? Is it a comeback or what?! I admit that the beat is infectious and the lyrics are very catchy. Click to StreamHope she finds herself some new respect as an artist/performer! WOW

Its great but I dont like her vocals as much I as I enjoyed the blackout vocals.
But I love anything Britney.
There is some review that just came out saying that this song is a successful attempt at the same sound Christina Aguilera is trying to do. It's kinda true lol

I don't like Britney Spears, but I loved "Toxic"..I think she sounds best when the music drowns her out, and I definitely think she should focus more on the live performance. I didn't see her most recent VMA(?) live performance, was it any good? This wasn't meant to bash Britney, so apologies if anyone's offended or anything

Her performances have suffered because her mind was clouded with prescription drugs and bad people. Shes a good singer when shes not trying to be someone else, but now a days people dont want singing. Club hits is where its at, and club songs dont have a lot of ballads. Kanye wests new single is getting little attention because its an interesting take on ballad form singing. great song though...

he's a what? i didn't catch what she called him? LOL jk LOL she says it so many times! But, Gimme More was also very repetitive. I still like the song, and am curious to see what the video turns out like. Apparently, the director is the same guy who did the ones for Stronger and Toxic! Some of her best IMO!

I don't have cable, so effectively I have not been on top of a lot of pop culture in recent history. And the last Britney performance I saw was last year's VMA's performance of "Gimme More." I like Britney's songs "Toxic" and "Everytime" for different reasons. "Toxic" is great because she's using her voice to be a strong match to the music. It's a definite club song, but it's fun and executed well, as opposed to her recent songs where she mostly just moans a lot, in my opinion. With "Everytime" she is really creating an emotional song, and it works well with her understated vocals and thoughtful lyrics. The musical accompaniment is a very good support system for her voice and that's why this song works. I basically don't like her new songs because they seem to lack any real thought; they are a production where she is not totally involved, and it shows. These are my personal opinions and I like to discuss things like this, so if I'm ruining anyone's day I apologize. I find Britney Spears very interesting, and I feel bad that she's been so severely scrutinzed throughout her career, so I like this kind of honest discussion thread. Thanks for reading my dorky posts hahaha. ;D

i'm not a fan of britney, and i'm definately not a fan of this song. Her early work was her best, but I do like Toxic.
