Trust Harmony to still be stuck on that passe trend. Really. I always had the expression that she was trendy. Tasteless yes, but very now.

I think she liked to think that she was trendy, but her hair was six shades of tragic, even when she had moved to LA. I mean, if nothing else, learn from the best. And I think it kinda goes back to BtVS being set in Sunnydale. Remember how Cordy always moaned about how there was no decent shopping in Sunnydale? And how the nearest decent mall was hours away? But yes, I agree that she was tasteless, and tried to be very "now", but there were always those little things that were passe.. Like wedges... Eek! But I guess I could never get pass the hair and make-up.

Cordy, Harm and the "Cordettes" were the fashionistas of Sunnydale. But, and thinking this makes me giggle, we all remember Buffy's theory on vampires, they all think fashion stopped changing the day they died. Poor Harm's still stuck in '99.

I was just listening to a podcast, Undead America, I'm not sure if anyone else listens to it. And they were speaking about Angel season five episode "Destiny" which is right before "Harm's Way" which got me thinking about Harmony in this season of Angel. I'm really hoping Jane Espenson and Joss have tied the continuity of these two together, that being Angel season five and "Harmonic Divergence". Because I feel Harmony did change in season five of Angel, she was abstinent, trying her best to be good even though she didn't have a soul, trying to be an independant woman and even though most of those attempts didn't work out to well, I hope her character development in season five is taken into consideration for this cameo.

But remember that she did betray Angel in Not Fade Away...perhaps the beginning of a backward slide? Harmony was only abstinent (from drinking blood) because it was a policy enforced at her new job. As for being evil, she said she just wasn't any good at it. I don't think this means she would not have started feeding on people once she managed to escape L.A. Once out of Angel and Co.'s moral scope, there's no telling what Harm is capable of. She didn't stop killing people because she thought it was wrong or felt bad about it, but because her boss told her to. If she found a new boss or simply lacked a boss, I see her giving in to those drinking urges.

You know that new Paris Hilton reality-TV show: My New BFF, or something to that effect? Now, picture Harmony, and substitute "bloody fine feast" for "best friend forever". And sadly enough, you know people will watch it. *nudges Kara*

How horribly annoying that all the issues have been delayed.

Some more information on Issue 21, from Baltimore Comicon: Baltimore Comic Con '08: Dark Horse Comics Panel
By Jeff Stolarcyk
Allie then turned the attention of the panel to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He mentioned that issue #19 is the first issue set to be tragically late, "due out in about six weeks". Jeph Loeb's one-shot issue #20 tells a story that places Buffy in the framework of the Buffy animated series that never came to fruition.
The arc following Loeb's one-shot is being written by several of the TV show's writers. "Vampires come into vogue, we check in with Faith, Giles, Kennedy, Satsu, and Andrew, and we see further development for Dawn."
The first cover of the upcoming arc features Harmony the vampire, who has become a reality TV star.www.newsarama.com/comics/080927-baltimore-darkhorse.html

Oh God, why did I have to read that. Now I'm spoiled. But yay, more Dawn!
I wonder if Harmony and Dawn wil be the ones sharing one issue.

Would you all class this issues plot as a spolie even though it is clearly posted on both TFAW and dark horse..and comic con. That vampires will become public knowledge? Since it will happen in this arc, I don't consider it a spoiler.

The issues are: 21-Harmony (and maybe someone else but I doubt it) 22: Kennedy and Satsu The other PAIRS we know, we just don't know the order. Andrew and Buffy are one. Faith and Giles are another. Xander and Dawn are the last (of them, not in sense of their order. I'd imagine Buffy's would be last).

Xander/Dawn sounds like a better match than Dawn/Harmony. Could you imagine the whining?

I think these stories wil tell us what happens to these characters, but I don't think they wil be the main characters.
Perhaps #21 is about Andrew and Buffy...but the main character is Harmony...So we learn their story from somebody else's view.

Very interesting indeed, I can see what is being set up.
Harmony is a vampire, star of a reality television show which probably makes her famous worldwide. Vampires are now seen as "cool" and maybe the world will sympathize with them. The "slayer" will be introduced by Harmony as well, maybe in a story she tells on her show...probably making the world think it is a bad thing to kill vampires. So Buffy will be looked at as a bad guy for doing this.

Or, on a more dramatic way of making Slayers a threat to everyone: Harmony is in her TV show explaining how she was turned and all the ordeals she's been through when some Slayers (let's say Symone and company) come and slay her right there. In front of millions of people who then turn against the slayers for what they've done to their beloved Harm.

WOW!! ITS HARMONY!! I loved her. I though she was great in both Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm glad to see that she is okay because I was begining to think that she had gone forever. I would still like to see what happened to Marcie Ross but there hasn't been any mention, so I'm not going to get my hopes up.

She's too.... fun to just die so easily like that. Especially by Symone. I can't stand her.

One issue of Harmony is fine. I find her annoying but very funny. An arc, I don't think I could take that much Harmony! I would like to see Marcie Ross again too. An evil invisible po'd woman would be scary indeed!
