Really really cool tv spot, that is currently promoting FOX Fridays (with Dollhouse and Terminator)
Totally a rip off of Planet Terror but I like it!

I really love this promo, seems to be getting people's attention. It's terrible advertising: "HOT CHICKS KICK ASS AND NOTHING ELSE!", but if it gets viewers to show up then I'm glad. The 'soulless' over Echo kind of bugs me, but just a nitpick. Love the Eliza laugh.
And wow, this is like a fanboys dream come true: Summer and Eliza.

Yeah, I'm still torn over this thing. It's so cool and gimmicky in such a cute way, but it's a bit Maxim mag and that really goes against these strong women (then again, they are both programmed in their own way so I guess they're not really feminist icons themselves are they? Sheesh that's a whole other topic and I'm not sure I even care). It's not altogether unlike that Mark Lutz movie we spoke to him about. "Bitch Slap" Hahaha!
Also, I love Summer and Eliza together, but on the other hand hate that fricken Matrix bullet so much!

Yes, I am torn as well. But I have to admit that it's good marketing. I was certainly interested after watching the commercial.

oh it definitely helped like crazy and that's of the good! It's cool...I don't have anything really bad to say about it except for the matrix bullet of lame.

OMG totally!  Hahaha! Thanks, Phil. The "Dollhouse-Matrix bullet of Fail" is a thing of legend now for me now. At least when that cheesy ass moment comes arrives on the tv screen next week, the Buffyfest crew will laugh instead of throwing popcorn at the screen! |

i love the promo, but i think it's a little too cheesy/lame. if i had no idea what Dollhouse was, i honestly don't really think this promo would make me want to watch it. my mom & i first saw the promo a couple days ago while we were watching tv. as soon as i recognized Eliza i shushed my mom since she was talking. we watched it and didn't really say anything about it. but the 2nd time we saw it my mom was saying how lame it is and i was complaining about how FOX made the commercial crappy b/c they're already trying to sabbotage Dollhouse.  so i'm torn as well... |

Hate the bullet! Haha! So glad they used it last night and I won't have to see it again until I watch it on DVD one day. Well, IF I watch it on DVD one day, how sad!
