I was wondering if anyone knows if Dollhouse will be airing in the UK?

I was looking through the internet to find out if it will be airing in the UK. I found out that as of yet no UK channel has bought the show and therefore it will not be airing in the UK yet . I hope a channel will hurry up and buy it. My best bet is that the UK channels are waiting to see if the show is a success in the US and if it is they will then buy it.

I'm thinking it will be Skyone or Channel Four that buy it. Sky one has Fringe and Channel 4 has 9120 so i don't think they will let Dollhouse slip under the radar.

I agree with The Charmed One...they are probably waiting to see what happens with the first series in the US. Skyone bought straight into Firefly and look what happened, so they might be being cautious. ITV might pick it up too. They seem to be showing more and more American shows but Skyone would be the preference. I think it'll be too serious for Channel 4! lol

Channel four did Buffy back in the day, they have had quite a few hard hitting dramas and such in their time. I'm hoping it will be them as Skyone sucks for people without Sky but who have Virgin and the likes. I would have thought it would have been picked up by now as Fringe was pretty soon. Not that it matters really. Most of the shows that get shown here are at least 3 months behind the US.

Skyone is probably the closest thing we have to your American BBC. They tend to have alot of American shows but then so do some of the other channels. In the case of Dollhouse we will just have to cross our fingers and pray that someone picks it up. Maybe they watch the first episode when it airs in the states and go "hey, guys, we HAVE to get that show NOW". So thats my dream....and dreams can come true!

i always thought the american and uk BBC were run by the same people. The only reason they show different programmes is because one is american and one is british lol
