www.nycomiccon.comIs anyone else going this weekand? I am extremely excited to celebrate Buffy's 10th Anniversary. I will make sure to stop at DST's booth for pictures of all the new Buffy stuff and Dark Horse's for ANY new information they have on Season 8. I did email them and they said they had something "planned" for Buffy.

I'm not going, but please have fun! Cuz if you're happy, perhaps you'll bring back some Initiative Xanders to sell

Make sure you get Nick, Juliet, and Elizabeth to hold up the sign...but if you happen to run into Bianca, James Leary, etc...then the more, the better!!! We should have a mascot...

Ok, well, bad news. I just got back and I'm in the hotel room. So first off, mom forgot the digital camera, so, no pictures of the figures or statues (which look F*UCKING AMAZING in person), also no pictures with the very cool and amazing "Slay:Alive Rocks!" picture I made, and even if we had a camera, I would of had to pay extra to get a picture of them with it anyways. Also, no Initiative Xanders, they had none at DST's booth, and when I went to the "Show Store" the only ones left were for people who ordered them, and the only place I could find one was selling him for $30.
So, the show wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The only good parts was seeing the statues and meeting the cast. Way over-crowded (autograph lines were getting in the way of other autograph lines), way hot, way smelly, and Dark Horse had nothing Buffy except a poster of the #1 cover hanging and when I asked if there was anything they could tell about Season 8, all I got was "Wait till March 7."

Well that blows. I wonder what happened to the Xanders. Could they have really sold out?

That's what I kept thinking. How could they possibly sell out? All other Con exclusives were still available after, if the Xander starts popping up places, I'm gunna be wicked mad.

The show started at 10 and I got inside at like 10:30, but I didn't go RIGHT to get Xander, thinking I would have plently of time.
As for pictures, I only had a lame disposable camera, but only took pictures of the Buffy stars.

I went to look at the NYCC website and it looks like DST wasn't selling him at the booth but offering him as a free figure if you purchased your tickets on line. They also limited it to 1500 figures to be given with the tickets.
This kind of makes sense to me after I read the press release on Thursday DST put on on action-figure.com and it didn't mention anything about the Xanders being sold only the Geodri figure and the Spiderman bust. On the DST website, they encourage you to get the Xander signed by NB, giving people the idea that the figure would be sold at their booth.
DST will be at WonderCon next weekend. I will be there so I will give them a piece of my mind for you hitnrun017.

Thanks for the info! Throw the book at them! I don't even know what that means, something about the law? I just like how Willow says it.

I want to make it out to San Diego Comic Con one year...just to say I went...not this year, though, as I'll be strapped for cash. Maybe I'll start saving up!!
