Yay for Faith!! When I first saw her, I knew I could relate to her. She was wild and bold and had great thick brown hair! Then falling without a soul to redeem her, until finally coming to terms that only she can redeem herself and just be a slayer for the world.
Season 3 she was introduced in reponse to good girl slayer Buffy. Doing her duty and saving her friends, Faith is there doing what she wants and... who she wants... lol. I love the transition to even darker Faith after 'Bad Girls' though I hated to see everyone turn on her in 'enemies' but I guess it was nessasary. Her apparence in Buffy's dreams are perfection! I loved the underlining lesbian tones yet her friendship to Buffy is really all she can ask for. And then as things went along it seemed they are big sister and little sister more than anything.
Faith's episodes in Angel are perhaps the best to me. I know it should be Faith episodes on BtVS but when Faith appears on Angel I just feel she is revealing her true self during those few episodes. Especially 'Salvage' until 'Orpheus' best Faith episodes of the redeemed Faith really... and working with the watcher that "failed" her Wesley was so fun to see. Seeing as Wesley had gone throu some very dark things as well.
I think the arcs to her on season 8 are going very well. Very good pairing of Giles and her too! I only wish there was more interaction to buffy and her in Retreat, but I guess we have more issues to hope for that.
