I'm not sure if there's already a thread or mention about this, so I apologize in advance if there is.
I just read Spike: Old Times, where he encounters Halfrek. Nice little back story, I thought, until Halfrek mentions their encounter in Season Six, in "Older and Far Away". She says it was Dawn's birthday where she and Spike had a short reunion.
She's wrong. It was Buffy's birthday. Dawn was just the reason why the vengeance demon was there, to grant her wish and keep everyone from leaving the Summers house.
I wonder if anyone else caught that. As soon as I read it, I was like "That's not right." My hubby just rolled his eyes at me.

Yes, this drove me crazy as well... But at least they got Spike's car right. Which, whatever happened to that car anyway? Also, i have a question about them giving Spike a last name...is it canon? Cause i would assume it isn't. I thought it was very cool that they used Pratt, as a nod to Boris Karloff i assume because his birthname was William Henry Pratt, but why did Spike visit Bela Lugosi's grave? I guess that was just paying homage to two of the forefathers of horror? I don't know, this comic was a nice little read i guess, if you don't pay attention to all of the errors. I was looking forward to seeing some back story about the whole Halfrek/Spike thing, but it was kind of disapointing to me in some ways. But still, it had Spike, and Spike makes me happy! The artwork was dead on.
