I don't know if this is in the right topic, but has anyone played the video game Chaos Bleeds, or read the book? I've read the book like 3 times and I'm trying to play the game now. I guess it was supposed to be an episode, but for some reason it never was so they changed it into a video game and then a book.

I just purchased the game at a used game store. Missing instructions Haven't played yet but from talking to others and reading the reviews, it sounds like a great game regardless if your a fan of Buffy.

I got it when it came out in 2003, it's a really good game, I did prefer the first Buffy Xbox game but it's still really fun. It was made like a "missing" episode from season 5. It wasn't actually going to be an episode. I also read the book which was okay. The comic was better though.

Yeah the original game is better, so if you have an xbox I advise you get that. Chaos Bleeds is alright too. I wouldn't recommend either to non-Buffy fans though.

I have the first Buffy game too, but I haven't started it yet because I didn't want to get the 2 mixed up. I was playing Chaos Bleeds almost all day yesterday and I was almost finished with the Blood factory level and I died and then my parents told me to go to bed, so I have to do the whole level all over again is there any way to save the game while your in the middle of it?

I have and love both Buffy xbox games! Got the first one in 2002 and the second one in 2003. They are great games for Buffy fans. And I don't think there is a way to save mid-way. There's only the continue points that you activate after a certain point in the level.

I've played 'Chaos Bleeds'. It's a fun game, but it does pay a hell of a lot of fan service, and I have my doubts about the 'missing episode' tag.
Vampire Tara is a whole world of awesome, though.

I love Chaos Bleeds. I completed the game twice. Really well done imo.

I love both the game and the book! I have read/played them both multiple times. XD. My favorite level is the Sunnydale Mall level. Willow is just...AWESOME!!! I also wish vampire Tara could've played a bigger role than just being at the end of the level. I really liked all of the things you could unlock as well.

I have the game for PS2 but I haven't played it much. After reading through this thread though, I have the urge to go home and play it! :jump:

For what it's worth, I liked the voice actress for Willow. Sure it wasn't great and barely sounded like Alyson Hannigan, but it was better then just some random girl.

I blame PS2's shiteness for this game's poor quality. The Xbox only one was a far better game.

Haha, I can see your point. One of my favorite Willow lines in the game, is sometimes after she kills a vamp, she says "Brought to you by the Make-a-Wish Foundation." So weird.

I have mixed feelings about this game. I really loved the first one and then this one came along and I was really pumped for it and then I played it and I was not really disapointed but I wasn't not disapointed either....If you know what I mean.
All the pieces were there but they didn't fit together, imo. The game play was kinda crappy and alot of the voices were pretty bad too. Buffy was actually decent (I think it was the same voice actress from the first game) but Willow was a joke.
II actually never finished the game. I got sick of hearing Spike say "hidey hole" . Plus, my nephew saved over my unit on my memory card and I didn't feel like starting from scratch. I can't remember how far I made it. I left of at either Xander in the school or Faith at the factory exterior. I can't remmeber which of the two came first.

I'm getting a Xbox in the mail early this week (hopefully) and I am going to go Buffy crazy. What's the other Buffy game called?

I loved the game... And it's one of those rare games I actually finished ;D . My favourite level is the Faith one and I still start it every now and then when I like to dust some vampires . The beginning of that level is just made for a little slaying. We even got all the German voice actors for Chaos Bleeds which is kinda cool because it really feels like another Buffy episode. Did Dark Horse release an actual comic version of Chaos Bleeds? Maybe it's going to be included in a future Omnibus?

I think it should be included in an omnibus. I have the first issue of it free from the Buffy Fan Club.
