I just watched Apocalypse Nowish, and I was thinking about what the Beast says to Angel before he throws him off a building.
"Do you really think she's safe, with him?"
Looking back we know that everything was manipulated that season, so did the beast say that to lead Angel over to Connor's to see them doing the do? Seems like a fitting Jasmine mind-phuck to me.

Oh, that makes a lot of sense! What a bitch. It also makes a lot more sense to me because for a few years, until this moment, I thought he was saying, "Do you really think she's safe, Liam?"

Yep, I figured it would be so Angel would go check on Cordy & Connor, and catch them doing the nasty!

I apologise, this thread isn't a particularly interesting topic lol
Vaguely on topic. When exactly do you think Jasimne took over and got in Cordy's driving seat?

I would say the very end of 'Spin The Bottle' when Lorne does his mojo on Cordy. As is explained in 'Inside Out' later on Fred- "Oh my god, we woke it up"

I actually think it was when she came back with no memory at the end of The House Always Wins. When we saw her on the higher plains, she seemed like the regular old Cordy, until she came back.

Jasmine was inside Cordy when she came back at the end of "House Always Wins", but didn't take control until the end of "Spin The Bottle" after Lorne did his mojo to let her loose. The amnesia Cordy thing was for real. Thats why when she sang for Lorne he went crazy, as he read what was inside her- Jasmine

Yeah that's bascially what I thought too. I just don't like the very genuine shock on Cordy's face when she "finds out" Angel knows about her an Connor. Why did Cordsmine run when Lorne woke her up though?

Probably the same reason as to why "Jasmine-as-Cordy" had a nightmare about the Beast in 'Apocalypse Nowish' I love Angel and all, and Seasons 4s my favourite Season, but at times you could tell they were kinda making it up as they went along. If you really analyse Jasmine's whole plan it makes zero sense But then again Charisma Carpenter's pregnancy did sort of mess up their plans a bit

I never really thought about the nightmare not making sense. In my head Cordy was Cordy while she was asleep, and Jasmine butted in when Cordy wakes up in the morning. There's something deliciously horrifying about that concept, and I blame my brain for thinking it up.

poor joss. He really had to make stuff up as he went and it couldn't be what he wanted. Charisma wasn't sup. to get pregnant. it was even in her contract. So joss really had to make it up as he went along and I think the consistencies and the hidden tie ins suffered for it.
